Are you up to your eyeballs in fall leaves? You need to RECYCLE THE FALL! Meridian's curbside leaf pick-up ends tomorrow, but leaf-only drop-off leaf bins can be found in several of our city parks through Dec. 12. These park locations include Fuller, Gordon Harris, Heroes, Kleiner, Renaissance, Settlers, Storey, and Tully. The Meridian Transfer Station at 2130 W. Franklin is an option, too. Please review these guidelines for maximum success: meridiancity.org/rtf

Please note we are moving forward with a tree removal and new tree installation project at Storey Bark Park. Apologies for the short notice, but this Friday we will be fencing off the lawn area of the large dog park to accommodate work crews. Additionally, the north entrance will be temporarily blocked off to ensure smooth access for the crews without the need to manage the gates. The project will include the removal of existing trees and stumps, followed by the installation of nine new trees.

This NEWS ALERT just in from the Daily Dog: In an effort to get a jump-start on our fall and winter lawn care maintenance, portions of the dog park lawn may be fenced off. By getting an earlier start on our annual turf rehab efforts, we will hopefully get better results and may be able to remove the winter fencing earlier than usual next spring. Also, sprinklers can be expected to go on at 2:00 pm in the afternoon at the dog park, impacting both the general and small dog areas. Thanks for your patience as we work hard to keep the dog park nice for your and your pups!
