With Meridian's Fourth of July Celebration in Storey Park and Meridian Speedway races taking place this Thursday, things might be wild and crazy and parking spots will be few and far between at the dog park. Additionally, the dog park will close thirty minutes before dark on that evening as it's located in the professional fireworks' "fall zone." Please plan your visit accordingly or consider taking your dogs to Discovery Park's dog park instead. Or, better yet, join the fun! Details are here: meridiancity.org/independence-day

Fly the coop and bring the baby birdies to our FREE outdoor showing of Migration at this Friday's Sparklight Movie Night in Meridian's Settlers Park! The movie begins at dusk on our giant inflatable screen. You'll want to feather your nest with folding chairs, lawn blankets, and favorite movie snacks... hopefully not worms or birdseed! The park's concession stand will be open, as well. Don't forget, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who plans to remain at the movie with them. Special thanks to this week's movie sponsor RC Willey! meridiancity.org/movienight
