Today on Yoshi the 3 leg Shiba… Yoshi actually ate!! We didn’t have to force food into her today! She had some Ge**er baby food meat and pizza crust and some sliced cheese! Yoshi had another vet appointment and she’s healing great. Her left paw had some healing and she’s doing awesome! Yoshi also go to go to Scouts tonight and got lots of pets from Ms Susan and others just thought she was just amazing. She even hobbled around on the grass and stood like a meerkat! I’m so pleased with her progress and truly over the moon she ate today! That’s a huge accomplishment in my books! We still are in need of donations so please consider donating again or sharing this with everyone. Thank you for the kind words, support and donations!

Our Yoshi was run over by a hit and run driver on Tuesday night 2/21/23. Id like to thank those who stopped to help her. Her injuries are extremely severe and she has a extremely long road ahead of her. She has daily dressing changes at the vet and she has at least 1 surgery ahead of her. Our hearts and world were shattered. Yoshi and one of our others dogs were in our 6’ fenced backyard when they spotted a snake. They followed it to the fence and the snake escaped and they dug out under the fence, which is how they got out. We live right next to South Tropical and that’s where she was hit. I just wish the person that hit Yoshi had at least stopped to see if she was okay and to say sorry. Anyway it is what it is now. After several friends suggested we start a GoFundMe for her mounting medical bills we did.

On Monday Yoshi’s right leg was amputated because of infection. She’s now home but my heart is broken. Only time will tell how her other leg will be and how long her road is before her.

If you can please help us. Either way God Bless.

Please consider donating her bills are now at $7385.

Yoshi has improved somewhat today but her incision from the amputation is leaking some fluid. The vet took some cultures and is checking for resistant bacteria. In the meantime Yoshi is still taking her medicine and being spoiled. Today on the Life of Princess Yoshi the 3 legged Shiba, she got to go shopping at Publix and got lots of pets and awww’s at how she just looked so cute. Of course no one noticed her injuries so I just smiled and thanked them. She peed today which is truly a relief for me because she hadn’t peed since Sunday! She didn’t want to eat when we got home tonight but I’m not that worried because I know she tried last night and I’m sure she ate at the vets today. She did have some water when we got home. She and I have just been spending the night together and watching some Netflix and loving on each other. Tomorrow is a big day they are going to try doing the bandages without sedation. If they can hopefully this weekend I can do them or she can go a day or 2 without one. We shall see! Thank you all for your support, prayers, kind words and donations. Today is the first day I’ve not broken down in tears because of everything.
