The Brevard County Dog Training Club (BCDTC) is a Not for Profit Florida corporation, section 501(c)(4), and is also a licensed affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC) offering classes for both purebred and mixed breeds of all ages. Our mission is to advance the interest of and enrich the lives of dogs and their owners.

BCDTC’s Inaugural TDAA trial was a huge success. We had a good turnout despite many other dog events happening at the same time, and everyone had fun. So many ribbons given out! We are already in the planning phase of our next event, tentatively set for April 26 & 27. Stay tuned!!

BCDTC is hosting our annual RDO event called Woof It Up! We’re are currently still looking for Vendors! If you’re interested in becoming a vendor at our upcoming event please reach out to us at [email protected].

For a premium spot under the rotunda the vendor price is $100. For a spot in the grass the vendor price is $50

This is an event for both dogs and their owners! We’ll have a lure course, agility course, local rescue groups, demonstrations, and CGC Testing!

This event is always fun for the entire family and we hope to see everyone!

First day of our inaugural TDAA trials and Rhonda Hood and Blacky got there TACH2, so proud 👏👏👏. Thanks to our judge ,another fun day tomorrow with lots of qualifying ribbons going to be given out . You can come join us if your dogs measures under 20” at the withers, all indoors and approved TDAA agility equipment. The BCDTC will be hosting CGC Testing on Saturday February 22nd!

Practice runs begin at 9:30am and CGC Testing begins at 10:30am

Testing will cost $20 for non club members and $10 for our club members.

Located at 625 Gladiola Dr, Merritt Island, FL 32952

‼️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION‼️

🐾 Proof of vaccine and signed waiver is required! Waivers are available at the club when registering

🐾 Please bring your own brush for grooming section of the test

🐾 No halters or prong collars can be worn during the test. A well fitted buckle collar, martingale, or harness can be worn

🐾 No treats or toys can be used during the test

For more information on CGC Testing, guidlines, and information you will need to bring to order your CHC Certificate or CGC Title please visit AKC.org

There is still time to register for the Inaugural BCDTC TDAA Trial this Saturday and Sunday, 2/15 - 2/16. This will be such a fun event for dogs up to 20” at the withers and their human companions.

Dog Measuring, Familiarization, and Check In from 8:00 to 8:30, followed by Judge’s briefing. Judging begins at 9:00.

Want to thank Natalie Duberow scent guru and Karelle Guilloteaux a judge visiting from France for Trailquest Mantrailing International, for setting up and organizing the first Trailquest Mantrailing for 8 of us to do the novice instructor course. This was a great introductory course and found it amazing how our dogs that had never done Mantrailing before, become such great dogs and addicted to working.
Thank you for certifying me to train novice Trailquest Mantrailing, I intend to start classes soon at BCDTC. to pass on this great sport to others, that has been in Europe for many years and is newer to the US and this area.

Great USCSS trials today, beautiful weather ,some awesome judges. Sharon Everson and our French judge that is visiting teaching us Man Trailing Karelle Guilloteaux. Lots of great hides in some super placements. Lots of ribbons and rosettes given out, we had lots of food and sugar to keep us going thanks to Ann for the wonderful brownies , Maralyn our secretary did a wonderful job keeping everyone on track and we were finished by 4pm . Thanks to everyone that traveled over 2 hours to be at these trials. Christie Gammage was a super host at Wedgefield, Orlando, we will all be back March 16th for our next trial.
