Little behind on posting, took Sport to his first show and gymkhana a few weeks ago! He did phenomenal and we walked away with some nice ribbons. When I got him, almost 4 years ago, taking him to compete was honestly something that I didn’t know if we’d ever be able to do. Sport always loves to prove that he’s up to any task and that he’s got my back ❤️

For those new to my story, I rescued a blind horse 3 years ago and began my journey training Sport. I wasn’t expecting much out of him (my mistake), I really just thought if I could at least get on him and walk around, then it would be good. Regardless of my initial thoughts, I set a goal of getting him to walk, jog, lope both leads by the end of the summer. We crushed that goal! He’s been out on the trails, through the mountains, and moved across the country twice. Tonight, we reached another milestone. I’ve been slowly introducing ba****ck riding and tonight I asked Sport to lope and he nailed it!

Hello! I am proud to announce that MGM Horse Riding is up and running. My focus will be on general riding and conditioning of green horses, young horses, old horses, and broke horses that just need a tune up. Western riding is my primary experience, but I do have some English flat work experience including poles and distances.
