What a brave boy “Smokey” was during his visit here at for his swollen paw. He let us take a good look at his little toe beans and we found a small cut. So we were able to get him treated swiftly and back home to soak up some weekend cuddles from his family. 🐾

was honored to care for sweet Shiva when her parents noticed she was limping and in pain. After a little outdoor adventure, Shiva wasn’t putting weight on her front leg, and a small scratch on her shoulder had them concerned. Our team quickly took X-rays, which thankfully showed no fractures, but we knew she was hurting. With some anti-inflammatory and pain medication, Shiva was on her way to feeling better. Her parents went home that same night with peace of mind, knowing their girl would be okay. ❤️

“Oliver” had visited us here at for some skincare issues. Her has severe skin allergies that needed to be assessed over the weekend to ensure his comfortability. We all know having itchy skin can be so uncomfortable and having to wait until you’re able to be seen at your primary vet can be challenging.

With the heat still in full swing, remember that our furry friends feel it too! Walking your dog in hot weather can lead to heatstroke and other injuries. Here's why: Concrete and asphalt retain heat, making it much hotter for your pet, and these surfaces can burn their paw pads. When it’s above 80-85 degrees, it’s best to walk your dog in the early morning or at dusk. If that’s not possible, keep walks short and stay on the grass. Always provide plenty of water and watch for signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and confusion. If you notice any of these, bring your pet to us right away.
