These cuties are hanging out in our boarding facility today! 😻 Some of our amazing staff members helped these little guys and will be putting them up for adoption as soon as they are ready! Heartworm in Dog Shown on Microscope

We found these suckers in one of our patients. According to Companion Animal Parasite Council, currently 49.83% of all positive cases of Heartworm in dogs in the state of Arizona is in Maricopa County. This gross worm comes from a simple mosquito bite. We recommend all dogs be on monthly Heartworm prevention and at least one test a year to be sure. Save your pets. Avoid costly treatments.
