When Eva arrived at the care of Paws Humane, their rescue team quickly found Eva had an old fracture in her elbow and was unable to use her affected leg. To relieve her pain she required amputation. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation was able to provide a medical grant for Eva’s medical care and we are so happy to see she’s healed up well and continues to be her happy and loving self. 💛

Today our campers took a beautiful hike to some of our nearby ponds and went fishing!🏕️⛰️🎣The water was very refreshing and the pups had great catches all day long! These campers then roasted their fish by the campfire and enjoyed their well earned tasty snack! 🐟

Yappy Birthday Bailey!!!🐕🤩🥳 Bailey has been with us at camp since he was just a little puppy! Words can’t even describe how much we love this sweet boy. Bailey is so mild mannered and can be very shy at first. His personality SHINES once he is around his fur-iends at camp! ✨ He is quite a beautiful boy and has the coolest floppy/curled tail! We hope Bailey had a paw-some birthday today!🎂🥳

Yappy Birthday Theo! 🥳🐶 Theo has been coming to camp for quite some time now and is such a good boy! He loves to play with all of his other beagle friends and sniff all around the yard! Theo He has a big personality in his tiny body and loves to let you know what’s on his mind. He was SO excited for his peanut butter cake today! 🎂 We hope Theo had the best birthday pawty!🥳

There *is* some truth to the belief that dogs are a good judge of character. Research has shown through their keen sense of smell and skilled read on human body language and cues, dogs will sometimes use that information to form an opinion of a person. A dog's sense of smell is 1000 times stronger than humans. These heightened senses allow dogs to smell the pheromones that evoke the human mood which also helps dogs pick up good and bad behaviors of a human.

Yappy Birthday to the queen of our teacup yard, Miss Peaches!!! 🥳🎂👑 Peaches has been coming to camp for a couple years now and we all get SO excited to see this sweet girl each and every day! Peaches is known for her paw-some bow collection and wears a different one every day to camp! She has such a big personality inside her tiny little body and always insists that we carry her like the true princess she is! Peaches absolutely loves cheese, whip cream, and her favorite person in the world, her mom!🥰 We are so happy to have a little queen like Peaches at our camp every day and we’re so excited to celebrate with her! 🎂🫶🏼🥳 We hope miss Peaches had the best birthday ever!

Yappy Birthday Juno!!!🥳🥳🥳 This CRAZY girl is always SO full of energy! Juno absolutely LOVES playing fetch and chasing after her balls! None of us here at camp can think of a dog that is more ball driven and play focused than Juno! This pretty girl loves letting people know she’s there and is almost always smiling! Juno was bouncing off the walls today with excitement for her birthday celebration and peanut butter cake! 🎂🥳🤩 We hope Juno had the best birthday ever!!!
