Getting so excited to have pups again this spring! I just love content, sleepy puppies after playtime. Our puppies are such good nappers because they play SO hard. This was when we were down to the last 3 waiting to be picked up. They turned out to be fantastic puppies in their new homes too! 💕

How these puppies slept this evening in their crate with the door open, throughout a lively family dinner and the rowdy playtime and storytime that followed. I don't want to make any promises for when they go to their new homes, but they are such good puppies here!! 😁🐶

Our big Christmas gift! 🎁

This little cutie has been affectionately named the “Puppy Palace.”

Raising our puppies with our family, in our home, on our little 5 acre property is such an important part of our program. While I rarely leave their nursery, especially in the first few weeks, there are times when mama and pups need a space to call their own. The Puppy Palace is equipped with heat, lighting, and windows, and will have their own safe outdoor area attached. This will be so useful around the time the puppies begin needing more room to explore and going potty outside. It will be a fantastic play space in all seasons. We love that it is parked right outside our house so we can always keep an eye on the pups. We have so many ideas for the outside area and I’m excited for it all to come together! 🐶

We love getting updates from each of their families. We’ve heard great reports, and all of them are happy, healthy, and so well loved! 🥰

Just checking in to say, “hi!” We’ve had our hands and hearts full around here with the pups, farm animals, kids, and our {overgrown} garden! Minnie is getting ready to welcome her next human sibling in just a few weeks. We hope everyone has been having a fantastic summer—it isn’t over yet!

We’ll be lying low for a few months, but could have puppy news to share as early as December or January, so stay tuned! We have some exciting pairings in the works, and cannot wait to have some tiny furry fluff balls running around here again before long!

This is the recall we use with all of our puppies!

Happy Monday! Content to share for training. You can always follow up with your own link to offer the Puppy Guide, too. Sign up to be an affiliate!

If your puppy bolts out into traffic, assess the situation quickly. Calling them might be fatal because you may be asking them to run back into traffic.

If you encounter an aggressive dog, this recall could be great, or it could trigger the aggressive dog to chase (a long down stay might be best in this situation). Again, assess and use your best judgement.

Step it up and practice this command with a long drag line (20 plus feet) and take them out in a high distraction area. When they are not focused on you, call “puppy puppy puppy”. If they don’t come? Reel them in and keep calling them. Remember to only be positive and happy (even if you are frustrated and have to reel them in). Give them lots of praise and a treat when they reach you. Let them go back out and explore and place and repeat a few times. Coming to you should always be positive and safe!

Unfortunately, it looks like we aren't having more puppies just yet, as Minnie still isn't big and we didn't see any pups. 😥We were so looking forward to this litter, and were so sorry to have to inform our six wonderful families on the waitlist, but these things happen for a reason! 🙏

We will be taking a little break to welcome a new human baby to our family in September, 🤱 but will have multiple litters planned for next year! Hattie is in heat now and I'm sure Hazel won't be far behind. We are lining up the perfect studs for them and SO excited!!

Happy belated Easter from our family and Mama Minnie! She always has great FUN trying to sabotage the egg hunt, but she was a good girl! She may have run away with an egg here or there but quickly dropped it. 😀 We made sure she got her own treats too! We even got to visit with Miss Hattie Mae, and they got along so well! 💜

I know it's been quiet around here, but we are getting excited! Less than a month until the puppies are due!! We are so blessed to have an almost full waitlist for this litter, so I will keep the updates coming!

Mama Minnie is doing great, and has started her normal pregnancy cravings that start around this time. Halfway through she gets a big jump in her nutrition needs, and it's a good sign!

Just for fun, here's a then and now of Hattie girl (Stella). She was in the middle of a haircut for the recent photo. Isn't she a doll? Those socks and gorgeous tan points are everything! 😍🐶
