I bought the place from Mom and she moved to South Dakota and lived with Colonel until she felt the end was near and then he brought her back to Las Cruces where she spent her last days and is now buri

ed with Dad at the Picacho Cemetery. There are still a few stalls for people going through, good idea to check before hand though. I do have horses here, some are mine, and some college kids are boarding. One of the grandkids, Chance Hine, lives here and sometimes has roping cattle.

It is that time of year again! Pine River Arena has changed from Thursday to Tuesday night gymkana! Then Wednesday night you can head out to the True Western Roundup, and Thursdays go to the Pagosa Night Rodeo and still have your weekends open for Buffalo Arena and Roping Productions! The first Bayfield gymkana will be 4-28, and then May 7 & 21, June 4 & 25, July 16 is the last one.
