On a recent trip to the east coast, we headed out to a small charter school in Columbia, South Carolina.

The team worked on a few tanks including an eel tank everyone was afraid to work on. Taking out the idea of a shipwreck Shawn had the idea to refresh the tank with inspiration from The Kansas City Aquarium we recently visited.

Back in the UK, Shawn and Evie make one final stop at the incredible Pier Aquatics. Once you step into this incredible store you can see why they have the reputation they do. During our Vitalis tour, we stopped by Urmston Aquatics in South Manchester. This place looks small on the outside but it is stacked with freshwater, saltwater and reptiles! Shawn and Evie are in Australia! While eating at a local restaurant they came across a tank that needed a desperate fix. After speaking with the staff, they were permitted to fix the tank up! Little did they know, it wasn't just gonna be a quick water change and scrub.

The benefits of tannins in aquariums have been widely studied and documented. We can rely on them as an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent, preventing some infections of fish and fish eggs.
