This fluffy girls new name is Rocky Road.. this was sent to us by the angel that found her. She is 3 months old and ready for her forever family.

Roadkill is by far the best little kitten I've ever encountered and y'all know I've fostered tons of kittens😬

She is so gentle, soft-natured, and chill. I feel as if she's an old soul in a kitten body. It hurts my heart every time I think about where I found her on that lonely road in the middle of the swamp eating a decayed possum. She was not malnourished, not flea-infested, and although she was petrified she is far from feral which leads me to believe someone dumped her. Please never dump animals, I know they can get burdensome and family dynamics change but please drop them at a shelter. At the very least let them be euthanized at a kill shelter before leaving them in the middle of nowhere to succumb to the elements and predators. I'm so thankful I found her. She is a fatty, mainly because she eats her food and her foster fur friends too. She is litter-trained with no accident outside of her box. She's a very good girl and does well with other cats and our small dog. This weekend she will be fixed. Whoever adopts Roadkill will be very lucky to have her❤

This is a reminder post!

We have to make a change on one of our policies going forward.
Normally, we do not collect any funds until you pick up the kitty you are pre-approved to adopt.
Going forward we will take a deposit towards the adoption fee at the time of approval to hold the kitten you have been pre-approved to adopt.
This change has been made to deter adopters from backing out when their kitten is ready to go home. Last year we had a 10% back out rate on our pre-adoptions of kittens.
We spend lots of time on advertising, application approval, and updates to the adopter for it to be for nothing and have to go through it all over again when the approved applicant changes their minds.
We start posting our kittens at 6 weeks so there could be a two week to a month wait depending on your kittens weight and the surgery schedule.
The deposit collected on approval will be applied to the adoption fee at pick up. But anyone who backs out will lose their deposit.
We hope this year is even better than our last!
