No one really needs to be reminded, “it’s summertime”. It is extremely hot, even in the shade.

With that being said, please, for the love of all good things, please do not leave a helpless animal tied to a tree.

If you are ever in a place and cannot care for an animal, reach out for assistance, just do not do this…

Thankfully Heidi was in the area with another client and rescued this poor girl. Heidi reached out to Zeus' Rescues and Michelle came right out! Thank you Michelle!

I met Lola 3 years ago...she had this hippity-hoppity walk all of her own, a bark that sounded like she was a Great Dane and was the sweetest little soul. She was a foodie girl through and through and never turned down a meal!

Although she was approaching 16, she still had s***k! Over the past couple of days, we noticed a slight change in her, she didn't have s***k in her step, a little slower and just looked tired. A very sad tired.

Heidi took her to the Dr Vet this morning and we discovered she was in kidney failure. The last thing anyone wants is to see their loved one suffer, therefore, the best thing we could do is give her peace, comfort, and all the love in the world while saying goodbye.

As much as our hearts ache, and the tears keep falling, and oh how we already miss the sound of her little feet walking across the floor, Lola will live forever in our hearts... ❤️
