Do you know of someone looking for an older dog?
Max would be the perfect fit! As you can see Max went on a little field trip today and loved it, Max is 8-9yrs old, and just wants a loving family and a comfy couch🤣 Max is dog friendly and cat friendly, he has not been around kids, but with this happy boys demeanor we do not suspect there to be any types of issues. With Max being older he has some hip dysplasia (normal with older dogs) so a lot of steps in the household would be difficult for him. Max is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, he would love to meet you! Come see him at the shelter tonight, we will be there from 4pm-6pm 9076 Landfill Road Metamora, IN

Missing Dog

Have you seen Loomis? This charcoal colored lab went missing today from the area of US 52 and Chapel Rd. He’s a sweet dog who is typically indoors, so his family would like to get him back home and out of this weather. Please call 765.698.6900 with information. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Community!
We are desperately looking for some fosters, our inside kennels are filled which means we have no choice but to start putting strays in the outdoor kennels which we absolutely don’t want to have to do with this cold weather but it’ll leave us with no choice. We are working with a few rescues and hope to have a few dogs leaving after they get fixed on Tuesday, but until then we are hoping to get some of these dogs in a foster home even if it’s just for a week. Below are all the dogs that can be fostered, if you have any questions regarding a specific dog please message us. If you’re not able to foster, please share this post for more outreach incase someone you know might be able to! Thank you!!!

Everyone meet Max! Max came in as a stray and was not claimed by his owners, he is an older fella and we would love to get him into a home so he can be a couch potato, he’s around 6 to 7 years old, he is dog friendly, and a very chill boy. Max loves everyone he meets and has a great demeanor, if you would like to meet Max, please message us!
