Imagine just waiting at a shelter for almost a year (322 days) until the cruelty case you were part of is decided. Well that part is done, but months later Horton is STILL at the shelter, just waiting.

Horton is an 8 1/2 year old guy that has lots of the charming husky traits. Sweet and social when he wants, zoomies with squeaky toys and a flair for the dramatic when he'd like you to do exactly what he wants - husky lovers will definitely know what that means 🤣.

He really wants/needs a dog buddy to live with and says no thanks to cats. And after 8 1/2 years of being neglected, he really, really wants a home where he finally gets to feel loved.

Horton may hear a Who, but he hasn't heard "I want you" 😢. He is still waiting at Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, Inc.

Those golden eyes almost match the flowers!
Silas is going to be the reserved, strong and silent type when you first meet him. So don't expect the big "where have you been all my life" moment 🤣. That's because he's been a bit of a worrier with new people, so expect to take it very, very slow. BUT, once you're his buddy, boy will he show you all the love, so it's definitely worth the wait.

Silas is 5 years old and about 87 pounds. He did live with another dog and cats in his previous home. Fun fact, he rang a bell to let his family know it was time for an outside potty break.

He will likely prefer a quieter home setting where there aren't tons of different people in and out. Silas will need potential adopters to be very patient when meeting him at the shelter, change has been a bit hard on this very good boy.

Silas needs a little extra help spreading the word so just the right people can meet him. Right now he's hanging out and cuddling with his favorite staff and volunteer friends at Salem Animal Rescue League in Salem NH.

9/1 update- As of this morning, Casidy and her foster still need someone that can help with her! This is an urgent issue as he needs help by Wednesday. Please continue to share and ask your friends to do so.

🌟 This is a situation where social media can help tremendously!!! Please take a moment to help Brown Dog Coalition help Casidy. They are completely a foster based rescue.

⭐️ Casidy is currently in a great foster home, BUT her foster dad needs some immediate support helping her. She is 3 years old and was supposed to to be a hunting dog, but she didn't want to do that and was no longer wanted. Casidy is super sweet, but very, very worried about being left alone right now.

⭐️ Do you live in the mid/outer Cape Cod area? Or maybe you know someone who does. People that are willing to help her foster dad by spending time with this good girl while he runs errands etc, are very much needed, right away.

Are you retired or work from home and need a constant companion? Maybe your family situation can be arranged to have someone home at all times, while Casidy adjusts to her new situation. This good girl would love to be adopted or fostered in a home where someone can give her the time to feel safe.

"Where are my people at?" If Toby could talk that's what he'd be asking. This happy faced guy is not getting noticed and we're hoping to help change that.

Toby already knows his basics like paw, sit, stay, those are a piece of cake and of course he's house trained. He loves other dogs, but has no history with cats. He can be a little shy meeting new people, but just give him a few minutes and that Toby smile appears.

His will be 2 years old at the beginning of November and he definitely wants to be celebrating with his new family. Let's get this 60 pound bundle of cute in a home!

Well ugh, we posted these two adorable puppies at the beginning of August and no one has sent in applications for either of them.

Patricia and Patty are very sweet 5 month old girls that each want a family of their own. Puppies can't possibly learn all the things they need to if they're waiting at a shelter 🙁.
Their siblings have all been in their new homes for a while and their families adore them.

We need to spread the word so Patricia and Patty can leave shelter life behind and have families to love, too.

9/07 Daisy has been adopted! 🌼

Daisy is hoping someone picks her soon!!

She is 2 years old and loves other dogs. In fact, she has been absolutely amazing playing with the 5 month old puppies, Patricia and Patty.

Daisy is a complete wiggle machine when she meets new people 💕. She enjoys her walks, but also loves just playing with her squeaky toys.

This pretty little lady is at Salem Animal Rescue League and has been patiently waiting for a home of her own.

Dove is a petite, one year old that had a rough start to life. Now she's busy spreading the love to humans and dogs alike. She loves to learn new things, play and she is the best toy sharer ever!

We know everyone is busy trying to sneak in tons of fun as summer is winding down, but please take a minute to share this good girl.

Summer isn't all that fun when you're 8 years old, waiting at a shelter and no one asks about you. Just ask Remi 😢

She is a big ole snuggle queen couch potato waiting to love some lucky person. Remi does great on walks, thinks car rides are fun and loves to play in water.

Remi does want to be your one and only, which is always a bit trickier. That's why we need the help spreading the word because we know there's someone looking for a girl just like Remi!! She's waiting at Salem Animal Rescue League for you.

💕8/29 Kit Kat has been adopted !!!

This picture has somehow hidden her sparkly horn, tails and wings because Kit Kat is definitely a magical unicorn of a dog.

This polite, petite young gal loves dogs, enjoys feline friends is crate trained and would do great with older kids! Read that magical sentence again😀

She has apparently been a devoted follower of yoga because her series of stretches would make any yoga instructor proud. And don't get us started on her play bow.

What should you do for this Kit Kat??? Everything you can to be the one to adopt her because she's simply amazing. She really, really wants a dog buddy, or two to welcome her home. She is with the wonderful Crops and Flops Rescue and more info can be found in the link below. Let's get her home!

8/18 Happy update, Tia has been adopted💕

Tia was born ready. But she's also just as ready to snuggle and hang out with her favorite people.

Wanted- Special home for this special pint sized love bug!

Chief is 2 years old and has understandably found himself a bit overwhelmed after having to leave his elderly owner, who was no longer able to care for him.

He will need a quiet adult home with a friendly small dog that wants a new pal. Chief also gets along with feline friends. His adopters will need to be patient with this sensitive boy and allow him plenty of time to transition. A fenced in yard is ideal for safety because Chief has not walked on leash before and will need a slow introduction to this.

This cutie is 12 pounds, he may be small, but he has a ton of love to give. He's just looking for the right people that will give him the time he needs to blossom into the best version of himself.

Sharing has been way, way down on our posts recently, which makes it harder for us to try to help find homes for all these wonderful dogs. 😢 Chief really needs your help to find a home.

These two beautiful young girls need a little extra help finding adopters for each of them. Their littermates have all gone home, but these puppies are a bit more on the sensitive and reserved side, so they're still waiting.

As you may have guessed by the names, they were born close to St. Patty's Day and now they need to find their pot of gold in the form of loving homes. They are 5 months old and chock full of potential.

Adopters will need to give them a little time to settle in at their own pace, while helping them build their confidence. Patricia and Patty are both extremely sweet once they feel comfortable with you. They've already aced the beauty category and they will absolutely blossom into fabulous family dogs.

Please help Salem Animal Rescue League, find their happy ever after, so they can go home.
