This was my last chemo yesterday. I’m done with chemo and radiation. I want to thank all my clients for being so understanding with all my missed days and with the groomers helping me out that you didn’t know.
It’s Howard and I in the shop now. Howard is a great groomer, very calm and great with the dogs.
I do have to do autoimmune therapy for the rest of my life every three weeks and my energy level is not the greatest right now so I will be only working four days a week.
Thank you all again for your prayers, support, and understanding. I love all my customers and especially their fur babies. I love what I do and hate being away from them.

I made two baskets to raffle off to help raise money for Project Hope in Metropolis. One is a men’s basket and one is an “old geezer basket” which you can c in the pictures.
Come by the New Village Groomers or call 618 524 3846 to purchase tickets. They are $1 each or six tickets for $5. I will take cc or cash.
Drawing will be November 4 at the Howl-o-wine project hope Halloween dog costume contest, music, face painting etc at the Purple Toad winery.

The Village Groomer is looking for a ft/pt groomer with experience to help with established clients while I am out with cancer treatments. Hired groomer will be able to stay on after I return building your own clientele. Must be self motivated with good work ethics. This is a drama free work place.

This lab was walking around in front of our shop in the rain tonight around 4:15. He came right in and made himself at home. If you are the owner or know who’s dog it is please message me or come by the shop tomorrow, we open at 8

Looking for something fun to do for the 4th of July weekend? Look no further than the annual HOMETOWN CELEBRATION at Harrah’s Metropolis! Starting at 6pm on Friday, July 5th, the parking lot will be hopping with inflatables for the kids, food, drinks, and more! El Tequila Taqueria El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Steakhouse and Dr. Frankfurter's Concession will serve Shake-Ups to keep us fed and happy. Then, the evening will be topped off with a fireworks show starting at 9:15 pm.

Admission is $5 in cash. Proceeds benefit the Back To School Supply Giveaway.
