I made two baskets to raffle off to help raise money for Project Hope in Metropolis. One is a men’s basket and one is an “old geezer basket” which you can c in the pictures.
Come by the New Village Groomers or call 618 524 3846 to purchase tickets. They are $1 each or six tickets for $5. I will take cc or cash.
Drawing will be November 4 at the Howl-o-wine project hope Halloween dog costume contest, music, face painting etc at the Purple Toad winery.

The Village Groomer is looking for a ft/pt groomer with experience to help with established clients while I am out with cancer treatments. Hired groomer will be able to stay on after I return building your own clientele. Must be self motivated with good work ethics. This is a drama free work place.

Looking for something fun to do for the 4th of July weekend? Look no further than the annual HOMETOWN CELEBRATION at Harrah’s Metropolis! Starting at 6pm on Friday, July 5th, the parking lot will be hopping with inflatables for the kids, food, drinks, and more! El Tequila Taqueria El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Steakhouse and Dr. Frankfurter's Concession will serve Shake-Ups to keep us fed and happy. Then, the evening will be topped off with a fireworks show starting at 9:15 pm.

Admission is $5 in cash. Proceeds benefit the Back To School Supply Giveaway.

I want to think all our clients for being so patient with me being out for surgery all of January and then being books out so long trying to catch everyone up.
Thank you also for being patient with the transition from jessi to welcoming our new groomer Tosha.
I know she is going to be a great fit for here and our community. I’m so excited about all her new ideas.
We both appreciate you all very much.

S IL, W KY, and TN peeps. This handsome gentleman found himself in a shelter in Southern Illinois when his family fell on hard times. He was surrendered along with a smaller fluff ball, who landed almost immediately in a phenomenal home. Gotti is due for his happy ending. He had a spa day today and his groomer reports he was perfect. Just look at him! Call Project Hope Humane Society at 618-638-4555 to meet him!!
Note: Gotti is HW+, but he is being treated at the expense of PH. He is taking a newer-type treatment in the form of one injection, and it is much easier on the dog. Our knowledgeable staff can let you know more!

I would like to welcome Tosha our new groomer here at The Village Groomers. She has 10 years experience being mixed between show dogs and family dogs. She also trains dogs.
