Many have already messaged us about Thor because of his GORGEOUS eyes! This amazing 5-year-old mixed breed has SUCH a sweet personality! Thor walks easily on a leash, knows MANY commands (sit, stay, drop it, leave it, etc.) AND he is housetrained! Thor had a very difficult path to reach the safety of the Metter Shelter and will need a GENTLE person willing to give him the love and reassurance he needs. Sadly, there have been people who did not treat Thor with the love he deserves, so he is a little shy at first. But once he knows you are a person of kindness, he is such a sweet, loving boy!! This handsome boy has SO MUCH love to give…Are you ready to be the soft landing this baby deserves? Call today to schedule a meet and greet at 912-685-7877*Adoption fee is $40 cash, which includes 5-way vaccine, Bordetella (kennel cough), flea treatment, deworming regimen, bath and nail trim, microchip and free registration. Heartworm testing and prevention for shelter dogs is sponsored by Paws, Hearts, and Hands of Candler County. Upon Adoption, PHH offers financial assistance with the costs of spay/neuter and initial rabies vaccination. Please bring a collar, leash, I.D., and $40 cash with you. Please give us a call at 912-685-7877 to schedule a visit. All fees must be paid at City Hall except Saturdays and events. Call 912-685-7877 or message us if interested

UPDATE: SHE FOUND A HOME!
REHOMING POST:
Trixie, is a long haired chihuahua in need of a Christmas miracle. She is a sweet girl who recently lost her Mommy unexpectedly. Trixie has spent all of her days, up until now, getting spoiled and loving on her mom. She loves ham. She has been an only dog but with the proper introduction, we feel she would do fine with other animals. She is hard of hearing but aware of her surroundings. She was housebroken until her Mommy became too sick to let her out as needed, so right now she is using puppy pads so house training should be very familiar to her. She is starving for love and affection. Please contact (912)321-5494 if you are interested. Serious inquiries only please.
