Unfortunately we have closed our intakes right now. We cannot even take in 1 more.
We are way over our capacity and its not fair to the ones that are hete to over crowd them any more than they are.
I am sorry people feel the need to keep having puppies and dumping them . Shows their true character . Why they wont g*y tjeir dogs spay is a mystery to me. Do they enjoy dumping dogs and pups ? Who knows but it continues. I feel like as many as our rescue as well.as all the other rescues around here have taken in and gotten fixed we would have put a dent in this cfisis but they just kerp coming more so than ever before...there are days i feel like we are just wasting our time since i cant tell that we have even put a dent in the dumping going on and we are a rural area with not a big population to have a these local rescues over full with all the strays from irresponsible people that we are being asked to take in .
With all that we cannot take any more at this time due to kennel space and manpower to take care of so many in our care .
Looking at maybe opening intakes back up after the first of the year.
In the mean time we still.have over 60 in our care to find homes for

We love updates .. Darby Montana was in our care last summer until she was adopted thru Montana pittie project program to a family in Idaho. She is surely living her best life. She has come a very long ways from that pup with broken hip not able to use her back leg living on thd streets of teague tx behind the fire dept and senior center to living her best life ever in Idaho. You make us proud Darby
