Rain and Cowboy finished their basic obedience class today. Cowboy was the winner for the most improvement. Cowboy is awaiting his day that Montana pittie project says he has a home and he will be going to Montana Pittie Project . Rain is available for adoption .
Mr and Mrs Parks have taught dog training since 1968. I have had the pleasure and privilege of taking their classes for the last 8 years. They are now retired and no more classes. While I wish them a great retirement they will be greatly missed.
I can only imagine how many dogs have gone thru their training. We thank them for the great service they have provided for so many dogs for so many years.

This old guy was dumped he dont have a loy of.life left but he needs s loving place he can call home for the time he does have left

These 2 dogs came from the same town although they did not know each other they have become the very best of friends Easter amd Maxi

In the first psrt of sept we were asked to help with some dogs that desperately needed help . So we took a poodle and 3 other pups . While the pups were pretty healthy this girl was not. She was so matted that her leg and body hair had matted together and her behind was matted over and no where for her poo to go but im all the matted hair . She could barely walk
I took her to our vet and god bless nichol.who was going to shave her for us during her lunch. 5 hrs later she emerged with a whole difference in her. She could walk and move and was so grateful. She also has heart worms snd treatment is underway . Fast forward a month and she was adopted today by an awesome couple that happen to have one that looks like her so she left us today for her forever home and we wish her many happy trails and tales to send to us have a great life now ms dancer

Please get your dogs spay or neutered. I dont think they spay or neuter neighbors yet but get your dogs there for spay or neuter

Unfortunately we have closed our intakes right now. We cannot even take in 1 more.
We are way over our capacity and its not fair to the ones that are hete to over crowd them any more than they are.
I am sorry people feel the need to keep having puppies and dumping them . Shows their true character . Why they wont g*y tjeir dogs spay is a mystery to me. Do they enjoy dumping dogs and pups ? Who knows but it continues. I feel like as many as our rescue as well.as all the other rescues around here have taken in and gotten fixed we would have put a dent in this cfisis but they just kerp coming more so than ever before...there are days i feel like we are just wasting our time since i cant tell that we have even put a dent in the dumping going on and we are a rural area with not a big population to have a these local rescues over full with all the strays from irresponsible people that we are being asked to take in .
With all that we cannot take any more at this time due to kennel space and manpower to take care of so many in our care .
Looking at maybe opening intakes back up after the first of the year.
In the mean time we still.have over 60 in our care to find homes for
