Good morning!!

🐶🐾We just want to announce that we will now be having daycare on weekends!
We are adjusting pick up and drop off weekend times to line up with the rest of the week.
7 days a week- 7-9am and 4-6pm. No need to sign up, just drop in 🐾🐶

Hi guys! Just wanted to give you and update on life in Ohio and show you our rental home and new norm for the next year or so.

To say we have our work cut out for us is an understatement!

A day WE will never forget!

Friday, Nov 22, 2024. - I signed over Dean Dog and Cat Boarding and the house where Robert and I got married (in the living room) to Helann Ruhf and her family.

This business has been my baby from start to finish. 👩‍🍼 It has been endless side jobs and to-do list ✔️ marks for Robert. 😂 Our clients and their pups/kitties have been our friends and family for almost 6 years and that is the best thing that we are taking away from the whole experience!

Thank you for all the kind words, cards, gifts, hugs, snacks for the road, special visits to say bye, etc. You made my day and made me cry happy tears knowing that I will be missed and am loved so very much!

You guys are the best and Helann knows how lucky she is gaining you to her family.

Once you meet her and get to know her, you will realize that you are also so very lucky to have her. I waited for the right person. And I'm so very glad I did. She was worth the wait. ♡

Yesterday was a great day!

We traveled to Got your Six Dog Training (near Jeff City, Missouri) and visited Mae one last time before we leave for Ohio. We wanted to take her some treats, a dog bed and some bags of food since one of the trainers (Macy) is planning to foster her. We found out that Macy has a farm and land for Mae! She is going to be in great hands until she finds a forever home...or maybe she already has 😉.

I was worried maybe Mae would have forgotten me after a month of hard training, but she was so excited to see us and even tried to stay still for some pictures. ♡

I cannot thank Got your Six Dog Training enough for teaching Mae manners and for saving her life! She needed a foster and they found her one. And I couldn't be happier for the big ol' girl that stole my heart many months ago! I hope to get updates from Macy and Pet Pals and will try to keep you all updated on Mae's foster/adoption journey. You guys raised the money for her training! You made her happy ending possible!

Thank you from Mae. Her joy yesterday definitely sent so much appreciation to everyone who was and is in her corner. ♡

For those of you following Mae's story...One of the trainers (at Got your Six dog training) has offered to foster Mae until she finds a forever home!

This is something to celebrate! It will keep Mae in a calm setting, so she doesn't lose the training skills that she learned at the training (that you guys all chipped in to pay for)!

Praise God for this amazing news!

And: Way to go Mae for doing so well that you won the heart of a trainer that worked with you! ♡

GOT IT SOLVED! THANKS SO MUCH!
Is there anyone in Mexico that could share some insulin with me TONIGHT please. (WE COULD COME GET IT). NOT for dogs, but for people! Helann Ruhf 's daughter is diabetic and ran out of her insulin and cannot get more until tomorrow and needs it badly. 🙏 They already moved here from Wisconsin and are settling in and Helann is shadowing daily...so they are in the process of getting new doctors and having things changed over.

Took me 43 years and getting a blind dog to finally have one that fetches!

We are looking for a Unicorn Foster home for our girl, Mae. Mae is leaving for training on Oct 19. She will be there for 4 weeks! She is going to come back a NEW woman with manners! We want her to remember her manners and not revert in the setting she is in currently at my boarding facility. We need someone to come forward that is willing to work with Mae either to foster to adopt her or foster until she is adopted. Mae deserves the world. She had a litter of puppies and they were all adopted and she was left behind at the shelter. Pet Pals accepted the challenge of trying to find her a home and I have been fostering her at my facility for months. BUT, Mae is currently dog reactive, so she spends little time outside and a lot of time in her kennel. We are hoping that she makes HUGE strides over the 4 weeks that she is in training (at Got Your Six Dog Training). And we want her to go on to find her forever person too. Are you able to foster this big girl?? Please give her a chance. ♡ Pass the word. *Looking for someone to foster to adopt or just foster her by Nov 22 at the latest. Ideally she will have a foster lined up right out of training. Which would be around Nov 16.
