Do you know ?

On average it takes 3 to 4 months to complete a monument. Depending on what is ordered, it may even take longer.

Choosing a monument should not be rushed, as you are weaving together a patchwork of memories. Words, pictures, special artwork, a meaningful saying… all of it creates a story in stone.

At Kellogg Memorials we are here to guide you in designing a monument that will stand as an enduring tribute to your loved one.

For appointments call our Rome office at 315-336-0664 or our Mexico office at 315-963-3543. Also you can check our website at www.kelloggmemorials.com.

The Crazy Horse Memorial is a mountain monument under construction on privately held land in the Black Hills, in Custer County, South Dakota, United States. It will depict the Oglala Lakota warrior Crazy Horse, riding a horse and pointing to his tribal land. The memorial was commissioned by Henry Standing Bear, a Lakota elder, to be sculpted by Korczak Ziolkowski. It is operated by the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit organization

Let's talk tops, in monuments, generally we have serp top, a little angle, oval top, flat top and special shape. Most bases are always rocky for normal wear and tear from sitting on the ground. All these different styles all personal preference, there are none that hold up better then the other. Next time you're in a cemetery look around at all the finishes and tops. Tell their story in stone. For more information call 315 336-0664, or our Mexico NY office at 315 963-3543. Or Visit our website www.kelloggemorials.com.

Greg is one of the hand draftsman at Rock of Ages whose talents are often overlooked by the general public. He’s a fantastic artist and can draw pretty much anything our customers can think of! We appreciate the work he does in creating unique memorials for our families.

I’ve posted this memorial before. It’s an exquisite example of quality workmanship in the stone cutting industry! If you’re ever in Barre Vermont check out Hope Cemetery.

It's All About Quality. The Leani Family Monument is one of the largest at Hope Cemetery in Barre. Commissioned by Dr. Aldo Leani in honor of his parents, stonecutter Luigi Leani and Lucia (Magnaghi) Leani, the Barre Gray granite column features a perforated shape-carved center panel with a floral and acanthus leaf theme, and a cross on top. The front of the monument has a pedestal with an urn, topped with a sculpted eternal flame. https://barregranite.org/

"Never underestimate the Difference you made and the lives you TOUCHED"

Every minute, someone leaves this world behind.
We are all in line, but we don’t know where we stand.
We don’t know how many steps remain.
We can’t move to the back of the line.
We can’t step out of the line.
We can’t avoid the line.

So, while we wait in line—

Cherish every moment like it’s your last.
Hold close the ones who fill your heart.
Find time for the things that matter most.
Let your gifts shine—they’re meant to be shared.
Make the unnoticed feel special and seen.
Speak your truth with love and compassion.
Treasure the small joys; they’re the threads of happiness.
Bring light to someone’s day with a simple smile.
Be the change someone’s been praying for.
Love with all your heart, and let love be your legacy.
Forgive quickly and ask for forgiveness just as swiftly.
Seek peace within, and spread it to those around you.
Tell the people you care about how deeply they’re loved.
Live in a way that leaves no room for regret.
Prepare your heart to leave this world with grace and peace.

And when your time comes, leave behind a legacy of love, warmth, and gentle kindness.

We’re all safe (thanks to all who reached out after yesterday’s tornado) and sustained minimal damage compared to many others in our beautiful City of Rome. We will be closed in that office while there is a State of Emergency in the city and we’re without power like most everyone. Should you need any assistance please reach out to us here on fb or call our Mexico office (which will remain open) at 315-963-3543. Please be kind and look out for one another ❤️💪❤️
