She has us officially trained, we have to hold her bully sticks for her to chew on them. Not that we are complaining, we know she deserves the princess treatment!
Bully sticks are great for keeping your dog or puppy occupied, they provide mental enrichment and can alleviate boredom.

If anyone wants a glimpse into what life is like at our house , this is it! Mike and Ava love to give me gruff EVERY day! They definitely keep me on my toes that’s for sure!
Here is a quick reminder for us both: the secret to making grooming/clean up after feel like a joy instead of chore is to use the dog grooming vacuum. For example, we set down in the living room get it plugged in and get started, not only do I get the dog all brushed out, but I also get almost all the hair in the vacuum so I don’t have to worry about a huge hair mess.

Did you know that Golden Retrievers have webbed feet? Much like a divers flippers, Golden’s webbed toes provide more surface area for pushing water. This is what helps make them naturally good swimmers.
Here at K & M Golden Retrievers our dogs love swimming and have taken over our pool. We start them swimming from a young age and they can not get enough of it.
This is one of the many things we love about the breed. Our family enjoys swimming and being able to include the dogs makes it that much better.

Need a little pick-me-up? I love going to Starbucks with one or two of my dogs. While I “pretend” it’s for socialization/training, it’s really because I want coffee and an excuse to spoil the dogs. I have to go to Starbucks because the dogs love the pup cups and I love watching them enjoy them. It’s impossible to have a bad day when you are watching your dog struggle to get every last bit out of the cup and it ends up on their nose and they lick it off.
Where’s your favorite place to take your dog when you need a little pick-me-up?

Come make lick mats for our puppies to enjoy, we like to get them used to new textures and tastes, we keep it simple but enriching for them. They absolutely loved it and were waiting for more. We used two ingredients found at our local grocery store, non fat yogurt and pure canned pumpkin (make sure it’s pure pumpkin and not pie filling). This is a simple yet effective and favorite treat in our house.
