Daisy is now available for adoption 🌼 🥰
After being successfully weaned off of pain medications, the vet determined that she is ambulating well enough to continue without any additional treatments. She is a very sweet and playful pup. Loves other dogs. Now she can run around again like a happy dog. Her only limitation is that she requires assistance climbing stairs. So she would do best in a home without stairs.

🚨Urgent foster needed 🚨 ‼️ Young blind momma cat with one surviving neonatal kitten. Other kittens dead on the road. They urgently need rescue but we have no fosters available and no other rescue has stepped up. Please consider sharing a space in your home to bring them to safety.

Happy tails to Dobby! We are so happy that our handsome terrier mix was adopted by a family with 4 kids and other dogs to play with at home. It was love at first sight between Dobby and the kids. He gave them lots of puppy kisses and they gave him lots of belly rubs.

Cheeks is now available for adoption 💛

Cheeks has come a long way since he was rescued in December. He was found with a large wound on the side of his head that the vet presumed was sustained from an attack from another animal. Although he did not enjoy taking multiple medicines daily for several weeks, he has made a complete recovery.

Cheeks is really enjoying the indoor life. This big boy is a lap cat and a couch potato. He will make a great pet for a family who is able to give him the love he deserves. Life on the street has been rough on him. He has lots of scars and several missing/chipped teeth. He is definitely ready for his furever home.

This is our very special new rescue, Wormy 🪱.

Wormy is a wild Florida Box Turtle. He came to us from a licensed wildlife rehabber after he was deemed unreleasable due to a leg injury that resulted in permanent damage. Box turtles are land turtles, similar to tortoises. They spend most of their time (80-90%) buried under leaves or underground. Wormy’s leg injury prevents him from burrowing properly, significantly decreasing his chances of survival in the wild. A dark side of wildlife rehab is that animals deemed unreleasable are usually euthanized. We didn’t want that to happen to Wormy. So we offered him a forever home with Haven. Our collared dove has already taken a liking to him and frequently visits his pen.

Florida Box Turtles have an a average lifespan of 25-30 years in the wild. In captivity, they may live up to 50 years! Wormy is estimated to be about 12 years old. Welcome home little dude 🐢

Ladybug patiently waiting for a loving family to adopt her 💞

This gentle giant is about 5 years old. Although the humans she lived wjth in the past were not kind to her, she is still full of love. We named her Ladybug because she is a cuddle bug and, of course, a lady! 🥰 She is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. Her favorite activities include napping with her head on her foster’s lap and exploring outside.

Is there anyone out there who can open their heart and their home to this angel? 🥺

This is the result of the cruel sport of racing pigeons.
This homer pigeon was found hiding underneath a parked vehicle at around 10 PM Saturday night in a residential neighborhood.
These birds are used for racing many miles and often fall victim to predators, dangerous weather conditions, and collisions from traveling at high speeds. This injury is likely from a predator attack. The left wing was fractured with the muscle exposed.
Luckily, a Good Samaritan contacted us and we were able to get him to safety immediately. The video of the injury was taken because we were consulting with a local rehabber in order to provide appropriate wound care as veterinary services were not available at the time.
This is an incredibly painful, life-threatening injury. It was difficult to find emergency avian veterinary care the following (Sunday) morning so we transferred the pigeon to another organization which was better suited to help this animal. Thank you for quickly responding to our plea for help and taking in this angel.

This super sweet girl was found in the Redlands area. No collar/tag, no chip, and no one looking for her 😞. Most likely she was abandoned. She hopped into the car without hesitation so she is not a feral dog. And given the condition of her ni***es, she likely birthed multiple litters.
Our humble rescue is currently very limited in funds and we have other animals in our care who need attention.
We named this girl Ladybug🐞 and had her vaccinated and microchipped. Her spay surgery is scheduled for next month.
At the moment we cannot afford to have the masses in her mammary glands evaluated by the vet. And the foster is not able to keep her much longer.
If anyone is able to foster, adopt, or contribute to her care in any way it would mean the world to her 💓. She is friendly with other dogs and a big cuddle bug with humans.

Mbali🌸 (F0005) is ready for Vogue.

This bundle of love is now available for adoption! She loves to play, eat, cuddle, sleep, and repeat. This sweet girl was rescued from a junkyard along with her two brothers and her momma. The whole family was underweight and infected with parasites. They’ve been treated and fed lots of yummies.
Now that they are in good health, they are ready for their furever homes. The brothers, Fin and Bruce, were adopted together. Mbali and momma cat are patiently waiting for their furever family to take them home. 🖤
