Animals should travel with their family!

Angel is a Bengali cat who travels around the world with her family. Due to the fact that two animals died during a flight – one because of the cold and the other because his cage was hit by other luggage – Angel has started a campaign for all animals to travel in the cabin. The slogan is: "we are not luggage, we are living beings".
Due to her large number of followers, this 15-pound cat hopes to make a change. For now, a good way to help her is to spread her campaign and her slogan ...WE ARE NOT LUGGAGE, WE ARE LIVING BEINGS!

Atlas is comfortably resting and being cared for by the amazing team at VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital. Surgery is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2024.

I am very touched by the outpour of support, and the generosity of everyone who shared and donated to the fundraiser. We received a direct $1,000 donation and are closer to our goal.

✳️ UPDATE 12/28 ✳️ The kitty was named Atlas and he’s resting comfortably at Knowles. He has a clean but serious fracture (photo attached) and the surgery is scheduled for Monday, 1/1/24.

The quote is from $3,500 to $5,800 and I will be posting the final bill in due time.

A typical event in South FL — a cat thrown out of a moving car onto I95. Needless to say, this animal is in pain and an amazing human, stopped traffic to pick her up! Thank you Treesha! You are her hero!
Tomorrow S/he will be seen at VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital and donations would be greatly appreciated. The vet bill will be posted. Thank you so much for your generosity. This cat didn’t deserve what happened to him/her.

Governor Ron DeSantis has signed SB 942 into law, ending a nearly three-decade-long ban on pittie breeds in Miami-Dade County.

🐾SB 942 was sponsored by Senator Alexis Calatayud.

🐾The Bill was signed into law on June 16, 2023 at 3:35 pm.

🐾The law takes effect at midnight on October 1, 2023.
