I'm super excited to announce our babies are available for adoption to new loving homes/families. These birds will make awesome pet companions as they are all tame and hand-reared in a friendly natural environment. They easily get along with new human friends (kids/adults) If anyone wants to pass by and see them you are free😍 Kindly send us a message if interested in any.
N/B: keeping a pet bird requires much from you as you have to make adequate time for them and some are loud noise makers lol… But it's all an amazing and exciting experience with these feather cuties trust me❤️🦜

For most species of parrots, the only way to determine whether they are male or female is with a DNA test. There are a few species, however, where we can determine the s*x based on physical attributes! Parrotlets are an excellent example of such a species. Males are identifiable by the deep, “true blue” colour found by their eyes, on the front of their wings, and their rumps, whereas female Parrotlets are identified by a turquoise pigment in the same areas. 💙🦜

Hello my fabulous featheredfriends,I hope you are keeping well. A healthy diet of fresh fruits and vegetables,pulses,sprouted seeds and pellets is a must.However, many of you who have a bird on seed diet,do understand the importance of a healthy diet but struggle to convert your bird onto. it's not easy but it can be done without leaving us starving. An African grey shouldn't go without food for more than 24hours but I'm sure you would never let us go hungry. I have a few tips for you today to help you to convert your bird to a healthier diet.

1. You can start by mixing an old food (around 75%)with a small amount of new healthy food(about 25%)or even less, then slowly increase the healthy food ratio and decrease an old food ratio.
2. Offer new food in the morning as we are the most hungry in the morning. Do not offer us anything else until about lunchtime.
3. Try to feed us from a different bowl or in a different place or try to hide new food in to our favourite toys so we would investigate and maybe even try it.
4.Eat fruits and vegetables infront of us and pretend is the best thing you've ever eaten. Then try to offer a piece to us.
5.Try different vegetables/fruits/pellets. If we wouldn't like one type we might like another.
6.As always be patient and don't give up! Make sure you carefully monitor what we are eating and how much and regularly weigh us daily to make sure we are not loosing weight. GOOD LUCK.
