My Treat Journey

At the age of 5, I found myself trying to help all the homeless animals. I grew to love the field of Veterinary medicine. I enrolled in a magnet high school to help me get a jump start in working with animals prior to college. I was accepted to Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science, too therefore continue my pursue of becoming a veterinarian and help many animals around the world. I was accepted to Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine, where I continued my veterinary education. I lived in the Caribbean for 2.5 years where many veterinary students and local residents had dogs. The island itself had minimal resources for pampering pets other than dog food. I began trying some recipes for dog treats and made a few of my own. I tried the idea of making homemade dog treats that were healthy and safe since most dogs there got table scraps as treats. It was a hit and people loved the idea. I moved back to the states for my last year of Veterinary School and thought why not bring the pets here “Healthy Preservative Free Treats”. So, I started Doggie Bakery and we have been trying new ideas to have more variation for all dogs. Our vision is to have people around the states give their dogs treats that are healthy, homemade and preservative free. We want nothing but the best for your dog’s health, so we stay up-to-date on current ingredients that benefit their overall well being.
