Happy Earth day 🌎 We will be closing early today Monday, April 22nd at 1:00pm for a staff development meeting followed by a beach pick up and gardening! We will resume normal office hours tomorrow.

Today we celebrate 27 years since our birth. Boy does time fly. At this time, I always reflect back to our humble beginnings with 0 clients and 3 employees in a small renovated apartment building on 27th Ave. We set out to create an animal clinic that was different. Somewhere where people could bring their pets, and feel that they could receive honest good quality Veterinary medicine in a environment that was welcoming and homelike . I think we have done a pretty good job in keeping true to this vision. Veterinary medicine is changing rapidly and not always for the better. It is slowly being controlled by multi million dollar corporations. These corporations are influencing animal care professionals in many ways that are not always favorable and have many unfortunate consequences. Although we are not shielded from this influence, we try to keep true to our ideals, and our principles. To this date, we have had 25 veterinary nurses that have worked at Silver Bluff either graduate from veterinary school or are currently enrolled in veterinary schools in the US and abroad. I hope that they can carry these values with them as they advance their careers. I have been fortunate to have so many great employees ..some which been with me for two decades. I feel so blessed to have this Silver Bluff family around me. I hope to continue doing this for many more years and continuing to build on what we have done so far. Thank you to all the great clients that have been loyal to us, and trust us with their best friends. We will continue to try to do our best to serve you. And last, but not least to all of my family that has supported me throughout all of my crazy endeavors. I could not have done this without you. Happy anniversary Silver Bluff.😊
