January 27, 2023 we lost a very special patient of ours that meant a lot to each of us here in the clinic. We want to take this time to remember Sebastian and appreciate his owners; Randy and Marilyn. There isn’t a day that goes by that we all don’t think of him. The biggest personality and the most loving kitty. Anyone who has owned an animal, understands how easy it is to love them. How can one tiny animal contain to much personality?! There are little quirks that make each kitty unique and irreplaceable. Sebastian, your presence has changed our hearts forever. The memories and paw print remains in our hearts and soul forever. 🤍🐾🎈

FIREWORKS will be here soon and we hope you all have a safe and happy new year. Please remember that most animals have a severe fear of fireworks. Make sure to provide a quiet and safe place for them to spend the night. Exercise them so that they are tired and if needed, get medications for anxiety. Every new year and Fourth of July we see an incredible amount of lost pets after firework celebrations. Our pets panic and think then are in danger. Please don’t leave them outside and ensure indoors is prepped for this event as well, as dogs can and will tear through even metal kennels if they feel they need to. Thank you and once again and have a happy new year 🥳🐱🐶

With July 4th around the corner, it is a perfect time to raise awareness for a night full of loud fireworks. This day and New Years we see an increase in lost and found pets. Pets become very terrified and are unaware of what is going on. Some panic and do everything in their power to get away and “safe”. Please consider some of these tips for your pets. Although they are safest indoor, they can still panic inside. A quiet room with a radio or tv helps distract from the noise, along with some of the above recommendations.

Gordo is a spoiled cat- he loves everyone but has a special bond with Christina, one of our magnificent receptionists. She came by after a final exam to leave a warming pad for Buddy and greet him (story to come) and Gordo rushed over to jump onto her lap. Silly kitty 🐱
