🎉🎉NYC: Our Onyx was adopted today! 🎉🎉 A very nice young man opened his home to sweet Onyx. It was an instant connection and we are so happy for them both! Always a good day when we find the perfect forever home!

🚨🚨We need funds for Zorro 🚨🚨 We know everyone remembers this picture. Sweet Zorro hit on I95 with two broken legs and a displaced him. His paw pads burned by being dragged on asphalt. We waited to see if a bigger name rescue would take him in, but no one came. We pulled him with no plan or funds because we couldn’t let him suffer any longer. However, Zorro’s recovery, although amazing, is the hardest case we have ever had. He is still learning how to walk. He is nowhere near the end 😞 He has needed multiple surgeries, rehab, and heart worm treatment. We are so grateful for all the initial donations that got him this far!! But he needs more 🙏He keeps fighting so we will too! Our last post raised $200. We are sooo far away from the $3-$5K we need. ANYTHING helps 🩶🩶🩶 Thank you! We are begging. For Zorro. 🥺🥺

Remember Benjamin? He was a plea from since he had a hurt leg. He had his operation and is doing great! Sadly, he lost his foster to adopt home because he cannot live with cats. It’s heartbreaking because it was a GREAT home. We just couldn’t risk it. So now he is in boarding and needs out! We need a foster or adopter!! Please help us find Benjamin a home 🙏🙏🙏 He has also been neutered and fully vetted. He is heartworm negative and on prevention. He LOVES people 🩵🩵🩵 We will transport for the RIGHT home. ❤️🐶🐾

Sweet Bruno needs a new home. Due to his special needs, Bruno has been returned. No one’s fault. Just not the right home. Bruno had a**l prolapse surgery and needs time to heal. Right now, he has trouble holding his p**p. That requires extra care. He also needs his back wiped after every bowel movement, needs to eat 4x a day, cannot be walked on a leash due to his paw pads being burned. All of this will heal but, right now, he requires EXTRA care. Bruno is very sweet and calm. He loves the sun and does well with other dogs. Please read about his needs. Cinnamon was so incredibly overlooked but sat patiently waiting for help ❣️Her injury wasn’t new so, who knows how long she had been suffering. Yet, she sat quietly in her cage at the shelter and didn’t react to the dogs around her. She was also walked by a cat outside and she showed no interest. We pulled her with barely any pledges because her eyes say it all. 🔴We need a foster for Cinnamon 🔴 She has had her shoulder surgery but still needs to be spayed. We feel she will need to stay at the vet for a week or two so we have time 🙏 We do need to send foster apps out and schedule home visits, even virtually, so this gives us some time to plan. We MAY have a 30 day foster offer, but need something after that in case she hasn’t been adopted yet. We are eager to find her a FOREVER home, but we have to be sure she has healed enough. Who can help sweet Cinnamon???? She just needs to decompress and rest. She was even a saint on the car ride 🐾💓 DM us if you can help!

Hi. Wishing you all a happy lazy rainy Sunday here in NYC. I’m chillaxin in my bed. I’m feeling better. The dermatologist put me back on steroids to help my ear. My right ear ca**l is all closed up. 😩 Doc is going to tell me this week what my skin and ear results are. Anyhooo, feeling better, exploring this house some more. Catch you all later.

Sweet Reese is heading to her specialist appointment next week! She is a sweet senior (10 years old) who found herself at a NYC shelter alone and neglected. Her ears have paid the highest price after years of neglect! We need $450 to reach our goal. 👏👏 UPDATE 👏👏 The boys are able to be together again!! BUT WE ARE BEGGING FOR A FOSTER OR ADOPTER‼️ They are sweet boys who fought to live!!! We can’t let them down. 🙏🙏

❤️‍🩹 7 months in boarding ❤️‍🩹 everything falls through for these boys. They need help!! They went through too much to stay alive, to stay together, and have been forgotten!! 😭😭😭 We are out of funds. We are negative $5000. But we are willing to make a generous donation to a larger name rescue with a facility that can take them. We are not only out of funds, we are out of hope! We can’t save anymore until these boys have found a home or a solution. They are living in a vet clinic, yet remain so loving and sweet. Please help us help them. A few years ago we partnered with @nycacc thanks to our friend and dedicated volunteer @adequesada 🙏 This month she pulled these two babies that were left by their owner. They were not adapting well at the shelter, who would 😢, and were in danger of euthanasia. They are safe thanks to her, but we need funds!! On Thursday , Howl and Onyx have officially been released into our care! We are seeking a foster takeover for Onyx (black pup) or even better an adopter!

We had no plan. We just knew Zorro had been at the shelter for 2 days with 3 broken legs and no other help was coming. We had to save him. Everything started falling into place. The perfect surgeon, Dr. Wise. Then Gloria and Paola worked tirelessly to find Grover and reunite them. Zorro started making progress. They had a home ready for them! Sadly, that home fell through right when they were ready to leave boarding. They have been boarded since Jan due to Zorro’s medical needs. Heartbreaking that when they were finally ready for freedom, they couldn’t leave!! We desperately need an experienced foster or adopter for these boys!!! After $20K in medical bills and watching them survive - and thrive - we CANNOT let them down. Please help us find them a FOREVER home. Share share share! Cinnamon is a sweet girl who loves to play! She has done well with foster brothers, is housebroken, crate trained, and does well in the car! She is spayed and heart-worm negative! She had scapula surgery and is doing better with her limp. It may never go away but it doesn’t affect her quality of life or pose any health risks! She certainly doesn’t let it slow her down 😂 She was very overlooked at the shelter and now we just want to find her the BEST FOREVER home. Last week was really difficult as we had to say goodbye to sweet Ginger. We knew her time was limited but we had hoped for more time with this sweet girl. We spent a lot to buy her 3 extra months of life and would do it all over again. Ginger had 3 great months with her foster mom and knew a life she probably never knew before. A life full of love, fun, good food, and comfy naps. Her foster mom was extremely selfless in giving her this time and we are forever grateful to @luluvilas 🧡 Ginger made a huge impact on all who met her and we are so glad we got this time with her. Sweet Ginger Update! 🧡She was pulled from MDAS with multiple masses on her mammary glands and all over her body. Some were bleeding profusely. She recently had to have more masses removed and start heart worm treatment. This cost us an extra $1300. With Zorro’s care, we are hitting our limit on funds 😢We are asking for more donations for Ginger’s care.
