We would like to thank everyone again who has supported Simbad's Birds and Pets, both new and long time clients, for the passed 37 years.

As you all know, we are officially closing our doors November 30th, 2023.

However, when one door closes another will open. We would like to inform everyone that Fernando, Tito, Leslie, and Kassy from Simbad's will be opening up there own bird shop called next year January/February.

Como todos sabéis, cerramos oficialmente nuestras puertas el 30 de noviembre de 2023.

We have baby Sun Conures, baby Green Cheek Conures, baby Quakers, and more adult birds.

This fluffy pink baby Moluccan Cockatoo is about 7 weeks old and can grow up to 22 inches in length. “Dior” will be going home pretty soon but wants to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day!!💗🎀🍭

It is with heavy heart and great sadness that we are letting you know that our beloved boss, Alfredo Oña, is no longer walking on this earth. He was no longer capable of keeping cancer at bay.
His love and wisdom for and about avian husbandry made him a pioneer in the late 70s. He brought baby birds from the jungles, keeping them successfully through quarantine and making it possible to have a good pool of exotics in the U.S. He will always be revered by us.
We, here at Simbad’s, have definitely big shoes to fill and it is our pledge to you that we are going to do so, as we owe it to him.
There will be a Mass with his body present at Our Lady of Lebanon Church located at 2055 Coral Way, Miami. Date and time will be provided later.

Es con inmensa tristeza en nuestros corazones que hemos de comunicarles que nuestro jefe, Alfredo Oña, ya no se encuentra más caminando en esta tierra; el cáncer era muy fuerte.
El amor y conocimiento que Alfredo profesaba con respecto a los pájaros exóticos y su crianza lo hicieron un pionero al final de la década de los 70. El trajo pájaros bebes de las selvas, los mantuvo con éxito en cuarentena, y ahora se encuentran en manos de criadores y también como mascotas.
Alfredo siempre va a ser venerado por nosotros. Al mismo tiempo, nosotros en Simbad’s, nos comprometemos a atenderlos con el mismo cariño y atención que él nos inculco.
Habrá una Misa de cuerpo presente en la iglesia Our Lady of Lebanon situada en el 2055 Coral Way, Miami. Día y hora serán proporcionados más adelante.
