Lily from the Hood was a remarkable and affectionate feline. She was adopted and nurtured by her devoted owner, who provided abundant joy and contentment. Unfortunately, Lily's health began to decline rapidly, and her owner faced the difficult decision to prevent her beloved pet from suffering. Lily was not just a pet but a cherished soulmate and companion loved deeply until the end.

We are grateful to Lily's mom for graciously sharing this artistic picture based on a photo captured during Lily's last visit to us. Although Lily from the Hood has crossed the rainbow bridge, her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Goodbye, dear Lily Kitty from the Hood, we will miss you!!!

Greetings to friends, I wanted to reach out to all of you as the Summer season comes to a close. The past few months have been filled with non-stop activity at A Country Cat House, but I couldn't let the opportunity pass without sending a warm "Meow!" to each and every one of you, whether you're nearby or miles away. Your cats and you are cherished members of our extended family, and as we transition into the enchanting Fall and Holiday season, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to continue providing top-notch care for your beloved cats. Blackie just check in today!!! During the last 2 bookings his owner encountered challenges as she was unable to put him in his soft carrier; consequently, she end up cancelling both trips as she prefers her cat to have attention around the clock under our care. However, with the provision of information and relevant tips we were able to provide she was able to bring him to our cat hotel this time with a plastic carrier. While "soft" carriers are favored for airline travel, we assert that when transporting a cat via car to a boarding or grooming facility, a sturdy plastic carrier remains the optimal choice. 😎

"I moved to a country that required my kitten to undergo a 90-day quarantine in certain designated countries, and the United States was one of those places. After extensive research and contacting several facilities that could accommodate my kitten, I decided on The Country Cat House. Josie and her team are wonderful, and I could see and feel the love they have for the cats in their care. My biggest concern was finding a place that would treat my kitten with the same affection we do, and I'm certain he was very spoiled during his three-month stay at The Country Cat House.
