1. **Keep Pets Indoors**: Fireworks can be frightening for animals. Keep them inside to reduce exposure to the noise and potential hazards.

2. **Create a Safe Space**: Set up a comfortable, quiet area where your pet can retreat if they feel scared. Include their favorite toys and bedding.

3. **Use White Noise**: Play music, turn on the TV, or use a white noise machine to help mask the sound of fireworks.

4. **Update ID Tags and Microchips**: Ensure your pet’s identification is up-to-date in case they run away.

5. **Avoid Fireworks**: Don’t bring pets to fireworks displays, and keep them away from used fireworks and other debris, which can be toxic or cause injuries.

6. **Consider Anxiety Aids**: If your pet is particularly anxious, talk to your vet about anxiety aids or medications. There are also calming treats and pheromone products that may help.
