Today we said goodbye to our oldest friend, Pegasus. He went the way every horse should - laying in a field after a long life, peaceful and surrounded by friends. We can’t put into words what this horse meant to Elysian. The program simply would not be what it is today without him. He gave us 23 years of his life, first as a show horse for a fresh new professional rider named Vivianne and eventually became a cornerstone of our program as a lesson horse, giving some people their very first ride on a horse. It’s hard to imagine life without Pegasus as he’s always been there, through all of life’s hardships and celebrations. We take comfort knowing he lived out his final years in the fields of Kentucky, happy and sound until the ripe age of 28. We are so glad we got to see you this summer and were happy to see you hadn’t changed a bit in your old age, still a trouble maker and the head of the herd. We will miss you endlessly Peg❤️

Carrie and Bourbon Country took home 5th in the $10,000 WIHS Adult Amateur Hunter Championships scoring double 83s 🎉 This pair didn't score below an 80 their entire time at indoors! We're so proud of Carrie and so grateful for the team at home and away that makes it happen. A big thanks to head trainer Vivianne Kassin for leading this team to a stellar indoor debut ✨

Elysian is thrilled to announce its new location in Wellington, Florida ✨

Elysian Wellington features a 20-stall barn, state of the art footing, and 11 grass paddocks, all on Equestrian Way - just a 4 minute hack from the WEF show grounds. Elysian Wellington will maintain a year-round presence in Wellington, with boarding and lessons, as well as offering stalls for the WEF season to current and new clients. Latifa, also known as Queen (because she is 👑) is a 12 year old mare out of Diamant de Semilly. We cannot say enough good things about this horse - her record is miles long. She took her current rider owner from the .80s through the 1.10 childrens, placing in every division. Has a record through 1.30m. Latifa is now offered for the meter and under job, recently placing 8th out of 46 horses in the 1.0m low childrens at WEF 11. She has no spook, has even taught beginner lessons, and just loves to do her job. This horse is very loved and will go to a 5 ⭐️home only.
