🙏🎆2025: A year in Review:

2025 looked very different for Paw Patrol Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. We made the hard decision to slow down — not because the need was smaller, but because burnout was real, fosters were harder to find, and we needed to protect the future of this rescue.
There were moments we truly questioned if we could keep going. But when we shared that we might have to close, you showed up. Our followers, adopters, fosters, donors, and supporters reminded us why this rescue exists and why walking away wasn’t an option.

Because of you, we chose to keep going — to be more intentional, to take dogs only when a foster was ready, and to continue this work in a way that is sustainable and full of heart. Even with fewer intakes, our impact didn’t shrink — it evolved.

As we move into 2026, we do so with gratitude and hope. Thank you to every foster who opened their home, every adopter who opened their heart, every supporter who shared, donated, and believed in us when we were struggling.
Because of you, Paw Patrol Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is still here. And that means there are still lives left to save. ❤️🐾

✨ Meet Sanchez ✨ Available for adoption.

Sanchez is a bundle of curiosity and charm! This adorable 5-year-old Chihuahua, weighing just 8 lbs, is a true pint-size adventurer ready to trade his foster home for a loving forever family.
He is super sweet, curious, playful, and friendly with both people and other dogs. While he may feel a little intimidated around larger dogs at first, he does great once trust is established.
For a breed known for being vocal, Sanchez truly stands out for his quiet and gentle nature. He will bark occasionally—mostly just to alert you when someone is at the door—but overall, he’s a peaceful little guy. Because of this, he would be a perfect match for condo or apartment living and for someone looking for a calm, loving companion.

✅ Walks well on a leash
✅ Loves human company
✅ Enjoys having a small dog companion

Due to his tiny size, Sanchez will need a safe and secure home and yard. A home with another small dog would be ideal, but his biggest wish is simply to be loved.
This special little guy has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for the right family.

🚨 URGENT END-OF-YEAR DONATION APPEAL 🚨

We need help immediately to pay off our veterinary care & boarding balance before the year ends. 💔🐾

We just received an updated invoice from our vet, and the balances for our dogs currently in care are overwhelming:
🐶 Charly – $1,370.36
🐶 Bella – $2,900.72
🐶 Sugar & Spice( parvo) – $5,453.27

💳 TOTAL BALANCE DUE ON OUR ACCOUNT: $20,947.86

These costs reflect ongoing medical boarding, treatment, and lifesaving care for dogs who had nowhere else to go. We never said no when a dog needed our help — but the financial weight is heavy, and we cannot close out the year without help from our community.

We must reduce this balance before the end of December 31st so we can continue helping dogs in need going into the new year.

💥 Paw Patrol is ending the year with a BANG! 💥

Today, we are welcoming two new dogs into rescue as our end-of-the-year saves 🐾

🐶 Dog #1: An owner surrender — a Dalmatian/Schnauzer mix named Honey about 60 lbs, who now needs a fresh start and a safe place to land.

🐾 Dog #2: A little white dog we named Sparkle who was abandoned in the Redlands and rescued just in time. No one knows how long she was out there alone 💔

As soon as we get more information about the dogs, we will make another post

🐾 PETS & NEW YEAR’S EVE FIREWORKS 🎆

It’s that time of year again.
While many of us celebrate ringing in the New Year, fireworks can be terrifying for pets.
The loud, unpredictable booms often trigger a pet’s fight-or-flight response. When that instinct kicks in, even the calmest animal may panic—bolting, jumping fences, squeezing through doors, or behaving in ways completely out of character.

🔑 BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: ID & MICROCHIPS

If a pet escapes, identification saves lives.
All pets should be microchipped. It’s low-cost (often free) and dramatically increases the chance of reunion.

Options include:

A collar or harness tag with your contact info
A current county license/rabies tag
A registered implanted microchip with your name, address, and phone number

🏡 PREVENT ESCAPE: BEST PRACTICES

Keep pets indoors during fireworks
Secure doors and be extra cautious when guests arrive or leave
Inspect fencing for gaps or damage
Move furniture away from fence lines to prevent climbing

🧸 CREATE A CALM, SAFE SPACE

Provide familiar toys or blankets
Play calming music or white noise
Set up a quiet room where your pet feels safe

✨ Charly Update ✨ Location Miami FL

Here’s an update on Charly, the little guy who was rescued from the shelter with bite wounds on his rear legs. We’re happy to share that he is doing amazing!
Charly is the cutest dog—super friendly, very energetic, and just one happy boy 🐶💙 He’ll be getting neutered this week and then will be ready for a foster home.
Because of his high energy and love for running, Charly would do best in a home with a small fenced yard. We’re not sure if he knows how to walk on a leash yet, so that’s something his foster will need to help teach him.

We are still in the process of getting to know Charly. Not sure if he's dog, cat or kid friendly at this time.

Other than that, he is truly an adorable, loving dog who’s ready for his next chapter 🐾✨

Milkyway and Comet 💕

They’ve been in foster for six months, and while I love them dearly, they truly deserve a home of their own. They are a bonded pair of Chihuahua–Poodle mixes and must be adopted together.

They are crate trained and do everything together — they sleep together, eat together, and play together. They are about 10–12 pounds each, super sweet, very submissive, and wonderful with other dogs. I’m confident they would be fine with cats as well.

They do need a home with a small, secure, fenced yard because they love to run and play. They are not leash-trained yet, so they would not do well in a condo or apartment and will need a family willing to continue their leash training.

I would love to find them a forever home locally, Miami or Broward where I can still visit them — and where they could even come stay with me if ever needed. Please share so we can find these two the perfect forever family 🐾❤️

Unfortunately, we woke up to some very heartbreaking news today. Our puppies Sugar & Spice have been showing symptoms of parvo. We immediately had them tested, and the results came back positive. The puppies now have parvo and need immediate, intensive treatment.
This is absolutely devastating for us — emotionally and financially — but most of all for these innocent babies. They have already been through so much. After being rescued from a well, they fought so hard to survive, and now they are facing this terrible disease.
We are urgently asking for help. Donations are desperately needed so we can begin treatment right away and give them the fighting chance they deserve. We know the holidays just passed and times are tough, but we truly cannot do this alone.
Please, if you are able to help in any way, we would be forever grateful. Every single dollar makes a difference and goes directly toward saving their lives.
