We love and breed Chinooks, a very rare American Sledge Dog that originated in New Hampshire.

Mystique Pond Bella Luna Ila Blue, 2023 National Best of Breed, has OFA-rated hips "Excellent"!
Luna is owned by Nancy Stevenson. She has a clean Embark profile and normal eyes (OFA). I am very grateful to Nancy for taking such good care of this special girl and we are very excited at the prospect of breeding Luna later this year! 🥰

My two young girls and I had a wonderful long Labor Day weekend in Perry GA, showing conformation at the Middle Georgia Kennel Club. Five female Chinooks showed at this UKC show!!!! 🥂

Kiana is not pregnant, so this was the perfect distraction for the weekend she was supposed to give birth. Love this girl so much and this was a hard pill to swallow....

It was wonderful to have Nancy Stevenson and Mystique Pond Luna join us for their first conformation show since the Colorado Specialty! They did awesome. Just beautiful to see how much Luna loves her mom and how she would do just about anything for her! Luna is a lovely young lady and a beautiful mover. I can't wait to see her progress in the ring with Nancy as her handler!
Nancy and I shared an AirBnb and had a great time hanging out with good food and wine!! 🥰
It was also great to see Denise and Todd Reed and their lovely girls Hazel and Harley again! So much fun hanging out all day and catching up! Barbara Byrd and two of her young Eskies joined us on Sunday - Just an awesome long weekend!!!!

We are well on our way home - Little Rock, Akansas tonight.Finally, I have time to post some more pictures from our adventures in Kalispell. The Going-to the Sun-Road opened on Saturday and Arlene scored a pass for us to go up to the top on Sunday!❤️ Just breathtaking - AND, my two Florida girls FINALLY got to see and experience snow!!!

Kiana and Mosley had a great time together! Unfortunately, Kiana would not let him mount her. We did a successful AI (vaginal) late Monday and again, on Tuesday and we are finally on our way home! We will miss Montana and the wonderful O'Donnell's!!!! It has been such an amazing adventure and let's hope that it will culminate in a successful pregnancy of Kiana!!! 💕

Today we are in Fort Collins and we are very excited to have dinner with Karen and Dave Schiller tonight!

Our lovely host in Montana, Arlene O'Donnell, took us to Glacier National Park on Thursday last week. Just breathtaking! The lakes and streams in Northern MT are so clear you can just drink from them! It's Paradise up there!

We went on a wonderful hike this morning with the O'Donnell's. Mosley and Kiana were VERY excited to meet and hang out!! It was a great first get-together! Thank you to the O'Donnell's for taking us for such a beautiful walk!!

Kiana, Malina and myself journeyed from Micanopy, FL to Kalispell, MT this past week.
Driving with 2 Chinooks without a human friend to share the trip with, is a different kind of adventure but no less exciting!

The first 2 days, driving through GA, TN and MO were not so much fun and I managed to listen to 2 audiobooks by the time we reached SD! Once in South Dakota, I did not need any entertainment to keep me alert! Sooo much to see and the landscape is so beautiful from thereon!

Malina and Kiana were super-troopers! I could not have asked for better car companions....💕 We are now safe and sound in Whitefish, MT,in a beautiful and rural Airbnb and are getting ready to breed Kiana to Mosley O'Donnell later this week We met Arlene, Shawn, Mosley and Moose O'Donnell this morning and are super grateful for their hospitality, kindness and willingness to participate in our crazy adventure. Kiana (and of course Malina! 🙄) really likes Mosley!

We are going for another progesterone test tomorrow morning and hopefully will breed Mosley to Kiana this weekend!!! Keep your fingers crossed! ❤️

Looking at the pack you would think I have an amazing cut of meat on the countertop! Nope, BLUEBERRIES, amazing sugar-laden blueberries from the Farmer's Market, even Enya (second from left), who is a bonafide carnivore had some. They were pretty amazing!!

Our May is unseasonably hot so I can't run the dogs anymore. I have resorted to summer activities early, like fetching sticks from the pond. letting them play while wet and then drying off in the shady grass. We had a fun early morning. 💕

I can’t say enough about the Chinook breed and their ability to just love the little humans. Savannah and Bryan came to visit with 7 months old Jack and everyone had a blast! Such a fun evening! 🥰

Malina and Kiana were fetching sticks in the pond and chasing each other. Malina is getting so strong and FAST! Love watching the girls play again outside now that it is cooling down here in FL! 🥰

Juneau, SUCH a Champ! At 8 years old he will NEVER pass an opportunity to play with his 1+ year old sister Malina. At heart, he'll be a toddler forever... 🥰
