I just want to make it clear that I cannot work with aggressive dogs. I work with dogs that have anxiety issues related to kennel stress, not good with other animals, seniors, etc.
If your dog is aggressive for grooming and bites you need to make that absolutely clear because downplaying it helps no one.

I took a new appt and while the owner did a good job of informing me that he wasn’t good for having his mats brushed out, I feel I was misinformed on the fact that I couldn’t even touch them in the bath and was going to be bit with absolute no warning.

I had to cancel the rest of my appts today and go to urgent care.

I want to be incredibly upfront with the fact that if a dog cannot be groomed without being muzzled for the entirety of the groom I am not the groomer for the dog. That dog absolutely needs medical intervention and should be exclusively taken to a vet clinic where multiple people can help and seditives can be administered as needed.
