This would be a perfect time to donate small bags of pet food, while we are having a sale on all Fromm Dog & Cat Food thru Monday!

Something so small, such as a bag of pet food, can make a difference in an owner needing to surrender, or not surrender, their pet. That is why our Feeding Hope Pet Food Pantry is so important...

With summer coming up, families may be on harder times financially. Your generous pet food donations have helped MHS' Feeding Hope reach hundreds or even thousands of families. People who contact Michiana Humane Society for help and people visiting the food pantry at Trinity Episcopal Church Michigan City benefit from the dry and canned pet food as well as LaPorte Co Meals on Wheels.

To try to help where we can, until 5:00pm CT on Tuesday, May 27th, we will be collecting unopened bags of dry kibble and unopened cans of wet food for cats and dogs. Your donation of pet food may be what makes a difference in a family needing to surrender their pet or be able to keep them. Finances can be tight year-round. We need your help to support families and their pets within our community.

You may drop items off at Michiana Humane Society or with our partners: Welcott Farm in Galien, MI or if you are shopping at Brandt's Old Fashion Emporium, you can purchase pet food from them, and they will hold it for us until pick-up. Let's work together to make a difference and show kindness and help to share the love🩷💕🩷
