The Michigan City Zoological Society would like to thank American On Line for their generous donation of $2,000. The funds will go towards veterinarian care for the animals at Washington Park Zoo. Your support is the foundation upon which we can fulfill our mission.

The Zoo will be open on weekends into December this year!

The Michigan City Zoological Society is a volunteer board which receives grants in order to provide food, purchase animals and veterinarian care at the Washington Park Zoo. We are grateful to Central Indiana Community Foundation of their $2,500 donation.

We want to send a special shout out to our Running Wild 5k sponsors. The 5k was a great success and we couldn't have done this without your continuous support. All funds raised during this event will benfit the animals at The Washington Park Zoo.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 26th annual 5k run/walk yesterday. It was amazing seeing so many participants. This fundraiser helps to fulfill our mission in providing for the animals at the Washington Park Zoo. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

A little about us

The Washington Park Zoological Society is a support system for the Washington Park Zoo. Our dedicated board of volunteers meets monthly, every 2nd Tuesday of the month to help plan out fundraisers and projects to help out the zoo. Some of the annual events we put on are:
