Winter weather elements can greatly affect your pet’s senses and overall well-being. Check out our winter wellness weather safety tips:

•Keep their clothing or garments dry. Damp material will give them chills.
•Animals, specifically cats, love the warmth a car brings. Always check underneath and the hood of your car to ensure no animals are present.
•Snow can affect your pet’s senses and ability to find their way. Microchipping your pet is a great way to make sure they come home to you.

Brushing your pet’s teeth is a great way to help keep their dental care on the right path, but we know it’s not always an easy task!

Here are our top tips on how to approach brushing your pet’s pearly chompers:

•Use a pet toothbrush with a long, curved handle or a finger brush. This will help you to reach your pet’s back teeth.
•Only use toothpaste meant for pets. Human toothpaste can have toxic ingredients.
•Allow them to taste the toothpaste with your finger.
•Proceed to brush their teeth from the top, sides, back and repeat on bottom teeth.
•Praise them for being a good dental patient!

Our Story

Veterinary Care Group started out as an idea by some seasoned veterinarians who are passionate about their work and were looking to change the current veterinary experience by creating a fulfilling journey in which to build long lasting relationships with clients and their pets. We’ve taken a long hard look at how we can enhance the office visit by providing advanced veterinary care while minimizing time spent on paperwork and waiting. We gathered various focus group, bringing together pet owners and veterinarians alike to share and exchange ideas and came up with a concept that ultimately would become the company’s mission statement.

VCG’s core principle is founded on providing high standard individualized veterinary care to your pets with emphasis on exceptional client service. Not only will your beloved pets be under the care of our highly skilled and compassionate veterinary team members, you will be able to benefit from the competitive pricing structure as we’ve tailored the hospital to be cost-effective without sacrificing quality care. We are devoted to keeping your pet healthy year round with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, client education and preventative health care.

Veterinary Care Group is committed to excellence in all aspects of patient and customer care. We set out to build a practice where we would want to bring our own pets. Welcome to Veterinary Care Group. We look forward to the privilege of serving you.
