And that’s a wrap for 2024! Thank to our clients, horses, students, staff, the whole NBS team! It truly was a year to remember! It takes a village and we are so grateful for ours each and everyday, here’s to 2025!
Our Friday/Saturday mix group working hard on balance and keeping the same same rhythm and straightness through the polls. Smiles and lots of pats for these ponies!
It’s Weekly Wednesday! Since we are all caught up on recent events here at the farm let’s take a little look back on when we taught our student how to clip a pony! It might seem like a silly skill but it is part of our horsemanship her in New England if your pony is working up a sweat! Do you know how to clip?!
Jordan and fan getting the set of 9 done! Looking quite fancy in the process. Looking to expand your knowledge and horsemanship, check out our A.E.C program!
And that’s a wrap on our 2024 show season! These kids ended there season with there first ever dressage show where they rocked there test taking what would have been the top 3 but unfortunately Olaf decided him and Kimaya were jumping instead and cleared the out side corner, (🤦♀️ bad pony) although she had a great recovery and finished on a strong note. Liv and fan took 3rd with a VERY relaxed test and an awesome confidence booster to carry them into next season. Meg entered her first show and dressage ring today with miss April and kicked butt taking 1st out of the five, a beautiful test they presented together today! It was a good day all around and we can’t wait till next yr show season!
We’ve been a little quiet lately working on some behind the scenes farm work! But here’s a Weekly Wednesday for everyone! Our seniors enjoying there newly offered care package here at the farm! Let us ease your mind while you’re on vacation, everyone is treated like one of our own!
It’s I spy weekend! Now that this long “vacation” filled week that involved horse shows, and of course lessons we can finally catch up! Marissa and lefty are back from VT where they spent there beginning of there weekend soaking wet, the other teo days gmha did a great job rearranging the schedule and making it all flow! Although it wasn’t the weekend they hoped for, they both come home safe and sound awaiting another day!
Weekly Wednesday! Week 7 you knocked it all out of the park! What a way to end the mini show season for these kids! Everyone had super flat rides! We even end with a newbie in the show ring! To wrap up the night we took 3 boys who have either sat on a horse at a fair, was on one 7 yrs ago, and one that had never been on before, theses boys and there family helped make these shows run as smoothly as possible with all these kids. It certainly takes a village to make this all happen and boy what a special one we have! We are so proud of how far all of these riders have come in and out of the show ring! Each show has been a learning curve for each kid but hey we’re learning every stride!
A touch behind on our updates, but on Sunday we took on the HRC show, everyone did a great job and had strong rides! Each and everyone of them came out of the ring smiling! That’s why we’re there, not for the ribbons but for those smiles. It truly takes a village and boy have we built a pretty amazing one! Thank you to our nbs riders and family for allowing us to take you on this journey!
It’s I spy weekend!! Happy Birthday to a very special mare that has changed so many kids lives and is one of NBS’s backbone pony! We love you!
We’re a little behind on our updates, here is a weekly Wednesday for everyone! We shook things up on Wednesday night, the kids put in the work and had a lot of fun doing it! Everyone walked away with big smiles and new things learned!
