Celebrate the beautiful autumn weather this weekend - come see us at our Friends of MHAS table at the Middleburg Heights FallFest on Saturday, October 4... bring the whole family for a FANGtastic day of fun, and visit our table to grab some delicious snacks to support the dogs and cats of MHAS 🐾
We'll now have CANINE treats in addition to yummy treats for the humans, and you know you want to see our very own Titan the dancing to the tunes… and he just might be bringing a new feline friend 🐈‍⬛
The odds are also pretty good that you'll meet an adorable adoptable or two as well, so come out and have some PAWSitively great fall fun and support the cats and dogs with us 🐾🎃🐾🍁🍂

Meet our very handsome Flynn with his adorable smile. This big guy is a little timid of new things, but he couldn’t be any sweeter. He gets along with other dogs and ignores the cats. He is gentle and loves to give kisses but he is also 60 lbs and thinks he is a lap dog 🤭

One-year-old Flynn knows how to sit, loves to play fetch, and does well in the car. We are working on his leash manners as he tends to pull when he sees people and dogs he would like to greet.

All family members and resident dogs must be present for the meet and greet.

His fee is $100.00 which includes neuter, microchip, HW negative, monthly preventative for fleas/ticks/HW, and up to date vaccines.

We are in our second year partnering with the Pre-Veterinary Science Program at Polaris Career Center! We are so grateful for the help they provide our shelter animals while the kiddos experience hands-on learning. A special shoutout to Mrs G, their teacher/RVT 🥰

Thank you! Not only did this wonderful family adopt one of our dogs, they also make donations to help care for the dogs and cats who are with us and still looking for a home of their own🥰

We want to send a huge thank you to Raisin and her mom Danielle. They raised money at Raisin‘s birthday party and shared some of the proceeds with the animals at our shelter 🥰🥳

Happy 😻

We want to introduce Bunny🐰

She is sweet and petite. Bunny was trapped by a local resident who had seen her around for a few years. Bunny was brought to us just in time to have 4 kittens who were born at our shelter. She was terrified at first but it didn’t take her long to realize that she and her babies were safe with us. They spent several weeks in a loving foster home. All four of her kittens have been adopted and now it’s her turn. Bunny is very affectionate with people and loves to be petted. She does enjoy the quiet cat room at our shelter so we think she would do best in a quieter home.
