The USHJA Amateur Hunter Championships is designed to promote and support USHJA’s Amateur membership by offering a year end goal for Amateur Hunter riders competing in the 2’6” Low Adult Amateur, 3’ Adult Amateur, 3’3” Amateur Owner, and 3’6” Amateur Owner Hunter divisions.

Glynhafen Sir Lancelot “Lance”- super, large SS to Children’s Pony, sadly outgrown by his rider, is now available to bring success to his new kiddo. 14.0 1/4 h, 11 yr old, welsh cross, grey gelding. Very quiet and brave, stridey, easy changes, good mover, lots of mileage, no prep, hacks out, easy keeper at owner’s home farm, and never takes a bad picture. Can be tried at Upperville or at trainers farm in The Plains, Va, or owner’s farm in Warrenton, Va.

It’s almost Spring and we have a few horses and ponies available for L (or possibly S to good home):

1) 16.3h wb, g, 10, done everything from Low Child to Medal finals and big derbies. Super teacher, brave, wonderfully broke, stridey, scopey, minimal prep, and soooo dependable. Trail rides, plays well with others and just an all around good guy. Mid 🖐️ to L, possible S.

2) 12.2h, welsh, g, 19. Super opportunity to get a super made pony that wants to step down from regulars to teach your child to ride. Uber broke, auto changes, beautiful, lovely mover, sweet, easy for a kid to handle. Lease to a great home only for wtc to short stirrup. Low ✋ to L.
3) 13 1/2h, 20 yr old, welsh cross strawberry roan mare available for L or S to great home. Been there done that, gentle, sweet teacher. Can teach your child everything from learning to tack up and walk, to learning to jump.
