ISO Part Time Weekend Riding Instructor to teach English and Western disciplines. Our next part time instructor position is for someone looking for an amazing opportunity to teach the next generation of horse owners. We have very kind, trained lesson horses and provide all equipment for each horse. Our program has a professional foundational curriculum. This achievement based safety-oriented program comes complete with mounted and unmounted instruction which makes teaching our riders fun and fulfilling! This position can grow into having weekday schedule times as well for the right candidate.
Applicants MUST be available on weekends, have experience with horses, good horse related references (we check), reliable transportation, be personable, willing to learn, flexible, be a team player, physically fit (capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, schooling lesson horses), and have a positive outlook on situations. This position can grow with the instructor availability to a larger schedule. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Existing customer base. Office staff with scheduling services. We have the best lesson horses and regulate their work schedules to best suit the health of each horse. We also have opportunities for riding and showing. Continued education is included with this position and required for all instructors of JSPH.
