We are growing!

ISO Part Time Weekend Riding Instructor to teach English and Western disciplines. Our next part time instructor position is for someone looking for an amazing opportunity to teach the next generation of horse owners. We have very kind, trained lesson horses and provide all equipment for each horse. Our program has a professional foundational curriculum. This achievement based safety-oriented program comes complete with mounted and unmounted instruction which makes teaching our riders fun and fulfilling! This position can grow into having weekday schedule times as well for the right candidate.

Applicants MUST be available on weekends, have experience with horses, good horse related references (we check), reliable transportation, be personable, willing to learn, flexible, be a team player, physically fit (capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, schooling lesson horses), and have a positive outlook on situations. This position can grow with the instructor availability to a larger schedule. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Existing customer base. Office staff with scheduling services. We have the best lesson horses and regulate their work schedules to best suit the health of each horse. We also have opportunities for riding and showing. Continued education is included with this position and required for all instructors of JSPH.

Who is ready for Summer Camp 2024?

We are super busy this summer with new activities, big riding plans and same incredible horses! Send your kids to camp for a true equestrian adventure. J & S has the largest and longest standing equestrian program currently suitable to all levels of experience and disciplines in Clay county. We are insured and we have safety protocols! Our horses are trained and equipped to handle the level of riding we offer everyday. Our horses are happy and healthy therefore we have a limited number of camps available this year to continue the support of the students and welfare of our animals. Everybody rides at camp and we have the horses to accommodate you. We are a licensed buisness with a true farm setting offering a facility catering to learning. Book your spots early to grow your equestrian knowledge with professional instructors. Intermidate and Advanced spaces limited for those bringing horses and working with head trainer. Unlimited references available and camps will have limited availability this year.

🎄Merry Christmas 🎄

Please take a moment to thank this entire crew of staff that work daily to make sure horses have everything they need. Minus an incredible young lady and one of our busy ladies from this picture. Amy has been coming on Christmas Eve for the past five years to feed treats to every amazing four legged friend on the farm with owner approval. The ladies you see in the picture make sure the horses are taken care of everyday and holidays. Our farm owner switches out shifts for major holidays but other times these staff members volunteer to spend time away from family to provide the best care possible on holidays. Thank you ladies for all you do at JSPH!
