The eyes on this girl 💙

Buttercup is my son’s Cherubim Ragdoll, she is a part of his program at Legacy Cherubim. She has such an outgoing personality and is friends with everyone. We all love her to pieces!

When Freya was a kitten she was a little backward. I remember thinking, no one will want a ragdoll that is so shy and aloof.

Her siblings were right on the mark and left for their forever homes. All leaving confident and well adjusted.

My thoughts at the time were to hold onto her a little longer because some kittens lack confidence and need a little extra time to grow into their personalities.

Once her siblings were gone, she blossomed into the most incredible girl. Her personality blew me away. Her shyness turned into bravery and her aloof attitude turned into endless cuddles.

Freya was born during such an uncertain time in all of our lives (2020). She was part of our “quarantine litter,” which preserved my sanity.

She soothed my broken heart during the diagnosis, treatment and loss of my beloved mother. She has been by my side during sickness and pain. Her soft purrs and gentleness are pure coziness. She is the epitome of a Ragdoll. Incredibly docile and sweet.

I’m forever thankful that those “few weeks” have turned into a lifetime. I couldn’t imagine my life without my best friend 💗
