Hello everyone! We could really use some new crate mats. As our pack grows, they have been over used, thinned out, tattered and run down over time. Constantly washing only makes them weaker and they all need to be replaced. Our sanctuary dogs have full access to their crate so they can come and go as they please. We also use our crates multiple times a week for transport and for fostering for our own rescue as well as for other rescues. It’s safe to say our crate mats are well loved and used often. 🐾🩵💜🐾 Little Tootsie Pop has arrived!! A huge thank you to my husband’s Aunt Elise for meeting transport and for fostering overnight when our original volunteer couldn’t make it. A giant thank you to those who also volunteered last minute. I am very grateful.

I cannot believe that Rosie has had no interest!! It’s becoming impossible to get Rosie and Houston adopted together sadly, we are trying. Volunteer found 🥰 ‼️‼️🐾 VOLUNTEER NEEDED - to pick (possibly foster for a night) little Dora aka “Tootsie pop” up this Saturday in East Hartford CT. Most likely around 5pm.

Little Tootsie pop is around 2. She is very relaxed and lays around a lot. She gives kisses and gets along well with other dogs.

Our volunteer is now unable to meet transport and unfortunately this is last minute. I will be able to meet you later in the evening OR Sunday to pick her up.

🩵💕ADOPT ME: Marmie!💕🩵 🚨Perfect pup alert 🚨 Up for ADOPTION 🧁🍭🍬🍩 I’d like to introduce Marmalade aka Marmie! She is as sweet as can be! 🧁🍭🍬🍩

Marmie is spayed. She is a little over a year and a half old. The shelter estimated birthdate was Dec 2022. She was pulled from a kill shelter by a lovely woman who came cross her photos on Facebook! She knew she had to be saved before it was too late! Marmie was transported from Texas to NY and now it’s time for Marmie to find a permanent home.

Marmie’s backstory before being pulled, is “Was adopted into a home for 8 months when they lost housing. She went back into shelter.”

She is now up to date on rabies, shots and is on HW prevention and Bravecto.

She was tested HW neg. She is up to date on prevention and is on Heart guard.and on flea and tick prevention.

Marmie is not yet cat tested, but she can be!

Marmie is a sweet pup with a lot of pup energy. She a bigger dog who lives to PLAY and she sometimes forgets her own strength.

“She knocked me down yesterday (accidentally) lucky I fell on the couch. She of course is full of energy. She was chasing the other dog across the room, in play and knocked into me (unintentional). A bit hard for older people like myself and my husband. She is a sweetie and I do love her. There are too many things I can't control in my home. She was great at the vet, great at a bath and nail appointment. She enjoys our training sessions with trainer and home. Very food motivated. Smartest dog I have ever had. Also, most stubborn when she doesn't want to do something, like go out when it is cold, and raining. Housebroken, crate trained.”

Guess who was officially adopted yesterday? Bella pup who is part of the “corgi mix” (she looks more like a lab mix to me) litter that came in, is now out of foster care! She is the last from the litter that was patiently waiting for a new family of her very own. She waited for a very long time as any potential interests fell through. We cannot thank her foster family enough for all their time and love. We were very excited when her new mom saw her and fell in love. She is now in a wonderful home Xoxo YAY BELLA 🐾🩵🩵🩵🐾

🩵🐾 Little Dora aka “Tootsie pop” as my husband insists we call her…is heading to NY soon. She is a sweet little girl who has been abandoned and living on the streets for far too long. She’s stuck to the same area where she was left and has been feed by some very kind street feeders. Living outside is no place for any dog, let alone a small dog like little Dora. She is currently still in Texas and we just got her spayed. She is also being vetted now and then will be able to make her way to NY. Little Tootsie pop is very relaxed and lays around a lot. FOSTER(s) 🩵🐾 local NY FOSTER needed for these 5 precious Texas pups (They are 8 weeks old now). They have been vaccinated already and will be seen by the vet soon, prior to transport to NY. Transport is scheduled for the next couple of weeks depending on a few things. We would like for them to stay together until adopted however they can be split up.

🩵🐾 We recently made a post about taking these puppies in. They are now 8 weeks old. They were born on the streets and mom has been impossible to trap thus far. She is a small 20lb terrier mix. I’ve included her photo as well in hopes that someone would want to adopt her as well if she can be caught. Soon after being born, they were found and taken in by a very kind gentleman who is fostering them. A local rescue does not have room as it turns out, so we once again agreed to take them in. They already have had their first vaccines and I will get them seen by a vet prior to transport. They are still in Texas and will be making their way to NY soon. Hi this post is a bit late, as admittedly, I am not comfortable asking for money donations. It’s not part of my personality and everyone who knows me knows that I rescue out of pocket. About 90% of what I do in rescue comes from my own wallet. I just feel more comfortable asking for dog food and supplies especially when we take in puppies and pregnant dogs. However, it’s a skill I just need to learn in rescue and I need to face the fact that sometimes I do need help especially when we get enormous and never ending vet bills like the ones we are receiving from our “Corgi mix” pups.

Keep in mind, these bills are for this ONE litter ALONE and we will continue to have more including the set of walking wheels we just purchased for little Azriel which were $161 from Amazon.

I loath making this post. I loath making this about money, but it’s the reality of rescue!

As you know Lucien (now Krypto has been adopted with the agreement that we help financially for the next three months). As it turns out little Krypto who was doing well and who is so loved, wasn’t feeling well recently and needed to be admitted to the hospital.

Azriel and Cassian are both putting all their strength into fighting the good fight. Their foster parents are amazing. Little Cassian is getting oil treatments from his foster grandma! That’s LOVE. They have their good days and bad days and both need to have a wellness exam soon. That’s another upcoming expense aside from the big one today for Krypto.

Bella, somehow lucked out and is doing absolutely wonderfully in her foster home. She is LOOKING FOR HER NEW HOME FYI. She did have some interest, but for whatever reason that didn’t pan out. She would love a family of her own. I have posted a video in the comments.

I obviously blacked out all personal info and I’m actually missing a couple of other bills, but you get the idea! Is anybody able to please help Savannah’s foster by driving her and Savannah to the vet tomorrow morning? I know it’s a big ask. From Glenn’s Falls to Latham NY. Savannah is a little 14lb dog we recently placed into foster home and will sit on her foster mom’s lap.

Savannah is not feeling well and although she has a follow up appointment for the 9th, we believe we need to get her in sooner. She has a grade 4 heart murmur and needs to be seen.

If you don’t feel comfortable volunteering, I can pay for gas. Please share with anyone upstate NY local who may be able to help. It’s a bit of an emergency, and her foster mom does not drive right now. Thank you!

Hi Blue Marble Family, one of my fosters and I are searching for a Walkn’ Wheels Wheelchair for little Azriel. He’s having some mobility difficulties, but wants to get around. Though he has an uncertain future, we think this may help him as he truly does want to move around and get to where he’s going. 💗🐾 Rosie’s pups update!! 🐾💗 The last of Rosie’s puppies have all now been adopted and are now in their new homes! Thank you to everyone who inquired about adopting through us. We are so grateful that we were able to get a very pregnant Rosie and her faithful companion Houston off the Texas streets especially since it was right before the last deadly storm. Her puppies would not have survived otherwise. We took them in, did our whelping thing and loved them and now we say goodbye and see you later. I can’t wait for all the pupdates we get. Off you go into the world! They are all safe and with their new families, already so loved. A big thank you to Sara Garcia (won’t let me tag you for some reason) Dale Gonzales and Tina Stone both ladies graciously volunteered to trap both Rosie and Houston. Rescue is all about a village, thank you for helping us save them all! 🩵

🩵🐾 Courtesy post for Mister. We need to get this boy to his forever home GSP 4 years. He is an owner surrender. A lovely woman named Darlene and her niece rescued this guy last Saturday and got him to the emergency vet. He needed sedation for nails “as you can imagine they were terribly neglected”. He “lived in a bathroom 90% of his life”. “He is high energy”. He needs lots of space to run. Darlene got him updated on all his medical treatment. He was treated for an ear infection and his rabies was updated. He will be microchipped and has a follow up appointment for more vaccines.

He's under Darlene’s care and she is providing all his medical needs which thankfully he is in good health.

Mister is in boarding and Darlene would really like him to go in a foster home. She is covering all medical expenses which includes his upcoming neuter, training and a recheck of his ears and nails, various vaccines.

“He's friendly , no bite history Zach ( boarding ) says he's good , I'm going to line him up with training waiting for call back - after his follow up with vet 7/5/24”

“Loves his bones non food guarding free spirited was around children , did not and does not go at the boarders dogs which is smaller”.

Darlene would love to get him into a home to show him love and patience. We believe an ideal home for him would be a quiet place with people who are knowledgeable about high energy dog behavior. He loves to play and wants to please and is a good boy! He wants you to be a good listener and will get to a better place once he knows rules, commands and love.

We would love to help Darlene find Mister his new family and although she is covering everything we promised we would help to vet any potential families and get the word out for him. 🐾 🩵

Little dog PUPDATE - Cassian is kicking butt every day. Despite his last vet visit, where the vet essentially said there was no hope, his foster parents fought so hard to give him more time because they truly believed in him and know him better than anyone. So we did just that and he is doing FANTASTIC. Getting stronger every day and is very playful and sometimes even a little bit “naughty”. This is exactly what I love to hear. He’s gaining more and more weight, looking healthy and has lots more energy. Interestingly enough, Azriel was given a much more positive outlook at his last vet visit and seems to be remaining steady (steady-ish). Some days not as strong and then other days, much better. His foster parents are doing everything in their power and working their magic with them both and it shows. They have come a long way and wouldn’t be here without them. We do have another vet visit (general check up) coming up soon for the boys so please consider donating towards their care. Any amount will help us. 🩵

Rosie and Houston: Are you looking for the two most perfect dogs? Look no further. These two wish to be adopted together, however we are willing to consider adopting them out separately as long as their new perspective families are willing to keep in touch and maybe continue to get them together for pup dates. Maybe that’s wishful thinking. Maybe not. They really are the sweetest and most gentle and well behaved dogs!

Their story is a true love story. They were together on the streets of Houston TX for a long time and protected one another. I’m not sure if either would have survived alone.

In their time on the streets, Rosie became pregnant and we are not sure if Houston is the actual bio dad of Rosie’s babies, but he sure as heck stepped up to the plate. He’s been such a loyal partner to Rosie and she to him. He watches over her pups when she leaves them and they will give one another lots of kisses.

They are well behaved, polite, quiet, sweet and loving. Neither Houston nor Rosie has had a single p*e or p**p accident in our house since arriving. They are crate trained as well which leads us to believe they must have been someone’s pet at one point.

Sadly they were not chipped and definitely abandoned like most of the strays in Texas.

They are perfect in every way and I wouldn’t stretch the truth just to get them adopted. They get along with all of our other dogs and listen nicely to all commands. They do so well off leash on our property and never try to run away. They handle their business, sniff around outside, and make their way back in the house on their own.

Please consider adopting these two. We can arrange a meet and greet, I’m willing to travel to the ends of the earth just to get these two the best home. They deserve it all!

Rosie is 2 years old and has no health concerns and will be spayed prior to adoption!! The vet says this is her first litter. (And last!)

Houston is believed to be 6 years old. He is a light HW+ however we will treat him and are committed to seeing him through to becoming HW-. Even if he is in your home, we will cover ALL his HW vet bills. Houston is a gorgeous boy. He will be groomed and Neutered prior to adoption!!

Both Rosie and Houston deserve everything in this world as they had nothing. Please help us find them their new families. Give them a chance and ask to meet them!

💗🐾 As promised. Here is a post just for Bella pup! She is up for adoption. This beautiful girl is almost 4 months old and is now at 21.7lbs!! She is up to date on all vaccines and will be seen by a vet before adoption. She will also be spayed prior to adoption as long as cleared by the vet. Due to her previous health condition she may need to wait, but we will cover that cost even if she is already in your home. She is doing fantastic in her foster home. She is very playful and has a lot of puppy energy. Her foster mom says she doesn’t sit still for long as she’s always searching for her next adventure. Even getting these photos was a challenge 🤪 She’s also a clone of one of my own dogs so I have a soft spot for her. She’s a good girl searching for a special family to call her own. I know she wants to be loved and spoiled, don’t we all!? 🐾💗

💗🐾🩵 Corgi Mix pup update - As you know this situation has been ongoing and has been a heartbreaking endeavor. These beautiful pups fought so hard despite their pneumonia. As previously mentioned, Luke was diagnosed with Distemper and Violet passed away. (If you’re wondering why we didn’t know it’s because the shelter had zero cases and the pups didn’t have symptoms and they were cleared by a vet who said they just had stress colitis. We don’t play the blame game and it’s neither here nor there. What matters is how they are doing in the now)…Thus they were/are all are being treated accordingly. Once in NY, they were rechecked and diagnosed with pneumonia and they received many medications and it is an ongoing recovery process which their wonderful fosters have been committed to seeing through. I am forever grateful by their kindness, love and patience for these pups.

We have good news and sad news.

🌈 Our sad news: 🌈 Little Luke and Daisy pup passed away. Their little bodies could not fight anymore and we had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye. Their prognosis was not good and they were truly suffering. There really was nothing more we could do. I’m sorry little pups, we did our best.

Bella is doing so well and is such a playful and happy girl! She’s getting stronger every day!

Cassian and Azriel are also doing well, and they’re doing their best to hang in there.

Cassian is playful and getting stronger since his last vet visit which didn’t look so good. He’s made steady daily improvements and his foster mom and dad just love him to bits. They have even mentioned adopting him 🤞🏽

Azriel is trying and doing his best. He needs more TLC and couldn’t be in better hands right now. His foster parents are going above and beyond and love him so much.

Lucien seems to be keeping pace with Bella pup and is strong and showing zero symptoms after finishing his antibiotics. He’s very playful and happy and making a very smooth recovery thus far. He has now been adopted, by a wonderful family who is committed to his on going supportive medical care with our help we will see that Lucien receives all the care he may need now and in the up coming months. Team work!

Thank you to everyone who has been following their recovery journey. We love them and are committed to getting them all the medical care they will continue to need. Whatever it costs. Thank you again to my wonderful foster families. You have to understand how this totally unexpected experience can either make or break a foster and this has not broken mine!

Also, we have spent close to 9k in their vet bills and will post a little fundraiser soon with all receipts to help us make back some of the money we put in. This money will help us save more dogs in their honor.

💗🎀 Great news!!! Hazel is officially adopted! Her foster to adopt family knew they wanted to adopt her all along, but wanted to wait until Hazel was completely comfortable with their other dogs and children. We are so excited for Hazel and family. She is one lucky girl to have them 🩵 Our foster to adopt program allows families to test the waters and see what it’s like with one of our wonderful dogs. It is a way to provide temporary care while seeing if they are the right fit. This way also helps us place dogs into loving homes while giving them time to settle in and have a safe place to sleep. With the goal of adoption, you can help us save more lives! 🎀 💗

Family, we have a very big ask. I was just contacted to see if we can help. I said I would make a courtesy post in hopes that we can find this girl a home ASAP! Her RESCUE FLAKED.

“Hi I have a dilemma I had a rescue flaked on two dogs en route to dropping them off in Ohio. Found a back up rescue for one of the dogs . However not any luck for the second dog. She is a plott hound great with other dogs and people. She has completed hw treatment three shot injections from the vet. She is fully vetted n fixed up to date on preventions and has a health cert. Does ur rescue have any room please, someone has recommended u all in a comment. Cats n kids unknown. A few days then I have to take her with us back to TX 😞She is very social and outgoing. Working on the Leash still but isn't totally lost on one. She is a great girl who deserves better than to be in tx.”

Rescue is a wild ride. Sometimes we find ourselves in the midst of all this crazy, where situations don’t pan out, or become out of our control, yet only to realize that they happen for a reason!

Turns out little Savannah needs a serious dental cleaning. We knew she was missing some teeth, but didn’t know the extent of her teeth. She may possibly need a few more teeth pulled and a very good cleaning. To be honest we don’t know what other dental procedures she may need yet, but we are confident that it won’t be that serious. Perhaps just a few pulled. 🤞🏽

Right before she was set to go to her new home, they asked us last minute to find an emergency foster home due to a personal medical emergency and of course we agreed to find Savannah a home for two weeks. However, after picking Savannah up we realized her dental situation was a bigger issue and of course alerted her new family. Long story short, and no blame on the family, but they backed out due to concerns about dental expenses she might need.

Savannah became available once again. Thank goodness she was already in a wonderful foster home so at least I knew she was safe and here is some more wonderful news. Her foster mom wants to become her forever mom!!!

She has completely fallen in love with this quirky and sweet little girl. Her other pets have as well. At least there is some good news at the end of Savannah’s story!

I want to make this happen, but we need your help to cover Savannah’s upcoming dental bill. We are unsure which vet she will be going to at the moment, we are trying to avoid a massive vet bill because we have several recently and some more coming up soon.
