We'd love to see any nice fall foliage photos or hear what you've all been up to so please share below! A couple of us did the Green Mountain Hounds hunter pace though the trees weren't as stunning this year. Still beautiful to ride and the weather cooperated!!!

It's fall vaccine time! We just sent out our newsletters through email so please check your spam folder from last week if you didn't get it (or if you don't have an email on file, send us a message and we'll forward it to you!).

As we've had such a wet spring and summer season we're seeing an increase in cases of Potomac Horse Fever (in vaccinated and unvaccinated horses). We're strongly recommending Potomac vaccines for our wonderful equines. If you live near water your horse probably already gets Potomac vaccine twice yearly so they'd be due for a regular fall booster while unvaccinated horses will get a series of 2 vaccines done 3-4 weeks apart.

How is everyone enjoying the start of summer? Sabrina and her icelandic, Kjarkur, have been doing various clinics including cow work. While being almost the same size as the calves, this small-but-mighty horse got the hang of it quickly and enjoyed the new experience.

We wish everyone Happy Holidays! Sabrina is heading out to spend time with her family and will return on Tuesday. Here she is with her own little elf during a parade a few years ago. Her family loves Christmas!

With the incoming weather we recommend having sand available to help your equine friends get traction on the ice. Electrolytes, probiotics, and warm mashes can also be nice for your furry friends during colic-weather. Be safe, everyone! If you have an emergency please call 802-951-4581.

Snow day! Sabrina will be checking voicemails but is home with her family today. What do you do when it snows? We love to see photos! Here is 37 year old Letta with her rider, Kelly, pulling a tube through the snow. They would also pull people on skis. This horse loved to do it all!

Hello, friends! We have a NEW emergency phone number and call options. When you call the office you have the option to leave a voicemail for the vets or to fill a medication (1), speak with Sabrina (2) M-F 8:30-11am, or if calling outside of office hours with an emergency you can hit 0 to page the vet on call.

The direct emergency number is 802-951-4581 for those who prefer to program it into their phones for quick access. Please only use it for emergencies when no one is in office. Everything else can be emailed to [email protected] or left in a voicemail until we can get back to you.

Texting to office phone is not working at the moment. The new system requires further setup which we hope to have going soon!

Happy 4th of July! We're closed today to be with our families, but we'd love to see photos of what you're doing with your horses this beautiful weekend.
