Good morning from Crystal Heights Labradoodles. It's been some time since I have posted, not that I have forgotten or walked away. We have been in the process of relocating which means building a new home and has required a ton of our time.
A year ago today we buried our first member of our labradoodle clan, after 14 years of devoted service to our home and our program here, our girl Lucy passed with a bout of cancer. Tears can still be a avid part of me when I spend time thinking about her. I will always have a soft spot for her in my heart.
Before Lucy passed we kept one of Shelby's babies. Her name is Gabbi. She has done a wonderful job to fill the void but left behind in the same manner. She is one of her own full of life and has a amazing demeanor about her. An excellent therapy dog. She would be. A gentle giant she is. She has great markings. Since my last post I've had several requests for babies and at this point in time him considering using Gabby as a baby mama, although she won't be old enough until the first of the year. So at this point in time that is tentatively somewhat the direction we are going. I still am a believer that I'm not going to be raising babies for a living but for a complete hobby and to also allow those who have been a part of watching us grow over the last 10 years to be a part of it with little ones from our program here at Crystal Heights Labradoodles. In the near future here I will be posting pictures of Gabbi so you know who she is letting you know for sure which direction we're going. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of lives in this manner.
I would also enjoy for those of you who got babies from Brandy's last group last summer. Feel free to post pictures. I would love to see them at a year of age. Thank you, Keith Miller
