Is your dog trying to walk you? There are many tools to help with loose leash walking. We recommend tools that are gentle on your dog.

Purchase a Freedom Harness or a Pet Safe Easy Walk Front Hook Harness. When the leash is hooked on the front of your dog, It is harder for them to pull.

Are you stressed about your dog not listening to you?

Let’s teach you a secret that will get your dog to listen to you quickly.

Focus on what is going “right” in your relationship with your dog. Stop yourself when you feel the urge to say “no.”

Get rid of that negative mindset.

Instead, take a deep breath. Get your clicker and treats out. Begin to focus on what your dog is doing right and reward that instead.

Your dog will love the attention and will start to do more of those “good” behaviors. 😊

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁?

You know you’re a dog parent if your hobbies include throwing balls. 🥎

Are you feeling frustrated that your dog runs off with the ball when you are playing fetch?

There are many easy ways to get your dog to “drop” the ball during a game of fetch.

Of course, it does begin with dog training.

Having two balls is a simple way to get your dog to drop the ball. Trade off with the other ball when your dog approaches you. Once he drops the previous ball, then you can throw the next ball.

You can also use the same technique by exchanging the ball for a treat. Sometimes when you are using food, your dog may lose interest in fetch and you can grab the ball.

We want you to make sure you have the help that you need!

The right treats make dog training fun and successful.

What does your dog like?

It’s got to be something that your dog enjoys and is motivating to him or her.

For some dogs, that is cheese, hotdogs, hamburger, and chicken. For other dogs, they are motivated by dog treats, such as Zukes, Blue Buffalo Bites, Bill Jack Treats, etc. 🦴

Or does a toy work better for your dog?

Your dog has to be in a playful mode for toys to work, and you have to use the toy that your dog wants. Is it a ball? A tug toy? A stuffed toy? A squeaky toy? 🥎

We use 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 methods to keep you and your dog emotionally and psychologically healthy. The behaviors that you like are rewarded, and we teach you to redirect behaviors that you dislike.

For example, if your dog jumps, turn your back and reward the sit. If your dog is barking at other dogs in the class, train leave it. This teaches your dog to look away from the other dogs and, instead, to look at you.
