This large wound is complicated by feline AIDS. The patient ("Roger the cat") has had the wound since at least December 2021, when he was first picked up. However, people in the neighborhood reported seeing him for months.

Manuka honey has failed, tie-over bandaging has had to be changed daily, and while the Convenia injections have kept more serious signs of infection at bay, there has been no meaningful progress for over four months.

These pictures were taken yesterday. We sent MicroLyte Vet and it will be applied for the first time either tomorrow or over the weekend. Stay tuned!
