Poor Oogie Boogie has been ghosted 4 times now- everyone who wants to adopt him backs out 😞 He does need a special kind of person but he could be a great companion with patience and love. To adopt him proof of appropriate enclosure is required and iguana experience is preferred.

This is Oogie Boogie- he came to us to get healthy- he was extremely underweight and had no muscle or fat on his poor little body- now he has filled out (after 6 months of good eats and proper lighting) and he is looking for his forever family. Iguanas are not for the faint of heart- he will require a great deal of patience and love. He is okay once he is out of his enclosure but doesn’t like to be picked up- this is something I believe he will change once he has someone that can devote time daily to handling him and earning his trust. If you would like to adopt him you will need to show proof of a proper size enclosure with the proper lights

This is Ruckus- he got here in the fall and has settled in nicely- his daily antics keep us entertained

This is little Ollivander- he was deformed when he hatched and he basically doesn’t have use of his front right arm because of it. He requires 100% hand feeding as he isn’t able to bend his neck to eat

This is little Tyrion- he has muscular dystrophy and has been with us since 2021. He needs some help eating and a different type of two set up because his condition causes mobility issues

Lilith- has been with us since tiny babyhood- lilith was shipped to a pet store to be sold when she was only a couple days old. She wasn’t eating- we adopted her, hand fed her and now she is a big beast who has stolen our hearts

Ryu has been with us since 2017- in 2021 Ryu had life saving surgery to remove 62 grams of egg sacs that were causing her impaction issues and making her very sick (a huge thank you to Dr Heidi Morey at Fenton River vet)

Hello to all of our new followers- thought it would be a good time for updates- everyone is doing well- we currently have 2 pigeons (one is disabled) that have become best friends (permanent residents), 2 iguanas- Ruckus is 7 and he is a permanent resident, Oogie Boogie is 4 and looking for his forever family- will need a big enclosure, proper set up and patience- he isn’t great with being handled yet. 4 bearded dragons (all permanent residents) Lilith, Ryu, Ollivander and Tyrion, and one leopard gecko. We are always happy to take donations - local people if you have veggie and fruit you aren’t going to use these guys would love them! Picture of Ruckus so no one forgets how handsome he is
