Lennon is 3yrs old and would really love a partner in crime to do all of the things with - showing and performance sports . He is littermate to girls Heina and Ruca. He has very nice drive, is super eager to please, settles nicely as well - OFF BUTTON - and in addition to conformation, would make a great sport dog as well and he also has been tested on stock with great instinct.

He has a clear genetic panel and is a natural bob tail. Full dentition and scissor bite. OFA Hips Good and elbows normal. He does need an updated CAER, his last one was normal with no notations.

2023 was overall a good year for Midnight Island. We had EIGHT new AKC champions (6 bred by), 1 new GCH and 1 new GCHB! We had one Icelandic Jr Ch! I am also very proud that two of our dogs have landed in the top 5 Finnish Lapphunds this year (MBIS MRBIS NBISS GCHG Lapinkaunis I Want It All “Bandit” and GCHB Midnight Island Yo Banana Boy “Foster”- thank you to his wonderful owners Ian and RJ of OwlCroft for believing in this young boy’s potential) Many other titles have been added by my wonderful puppy homes and many more are in the process of being earned. For a still developing kennel, this is something I am very proud of!

Next year, I have a few different goals for my dogs. I do have a few dogs I plan to finish their championships on, but my main focus for next year will be working on getting my feet wet in the rally ring and other avenues. So I will not be present in the conformation ring much next year. I also have some very exciting breeding plans for both lappies and Aussies.

Thank you so much to the breeders behind all of my dogs. Thank you to the stud owners who have allowed me to use your special boys. I have been blessed to be able to work with and continue to be able to work with exceptional lines and for that I am truly grateful. I would not be where I am or have my program headed in the direction it is without the trust these breeders have had in me.

Also thank you to all of my puppy owners for choosing me to be your breeder! Thank you for loving your dogs and thank you to those of you who compete and title your dogs! Without such wonderful homes, I wouldn’t be able to continue to have a program ❤️

And most importantly, thank you to my supportive partner. Without Dan, none of this would be possible - at least not easily 🥰

With 2023 coming to a close, I would like to share that we have a few litters planned for 2024! All of my breeding dogs have been fully health tested with passing results. Breed genetic panel, OFA joint certifications for hips, elbows and (while not a required test) patellas, and eye CAER exams.

It was eye exam day! 5 pairs of normal eyes for the Cajun crew🥰. Truly love Animal Eye Clinic in Wilton. Dr. Stuhr and his staff are always so wonderful with my puppies and it becomes great socializing for them. The good babies were so happy to meet new “friends” and doled out lots of kisses and b***y wiggles🥰

The sweet little Cajun babes had their first baths tonight. They weren’t sure what to think about it (proof in their adorable little grumpy mugs 😂) but were very good little puppies ❤️

We have been very very busy here and so have skipped 2wk photos of the little
Cajun bites. But they are doing fantastically, all have their eyes open now, are starting to toddle around the box and beginning find their voices🥰

Sire Mardi had a much needed spa day as well so included a photo of him as well 🥰

The first weekend of shows he has attended since being returned, he won his first 2pts and the entry was just shy of a major. Thank you for not only holding him until I was able to get him, but for also offering to show him!
